"In my birthday suit! After over 25 years of sharing my birthday day with my husband, I am running out of gift ideas! This is gift option two, golf balls being option one… of course," she said alongside the photo.

In the photo, the actress appears completely bare, wearing high heels and looking at herself in the mirror. The shot dates back to 25 years ago, about the time when she and Michael Douglas started dating in 1998.

The post has multiplied the interactions of her other posts by almost 10, with comments that mostly applaud the hypnotic beauty of the actress.

However, some did not appreciate what Catherine Zeta-Jones displayed... as if the actress should have asked their permission!

The comments included: "These photos look vulgar and classless to me," "You have two grown-up children," or "You must be desperate to get a movie role to put yourself out there like that."

What must have hurt the actress the most were the comments accusing her as a mother of questionable behavior: "I can't understand why a mother would do something like that."

Luckily for the couple, time has made these types of opinions outdated by 2024. Women like Catherine Zeta-Jones can now do what they want when they want. Without a doubt, their freedom is one of the ingredients of the eternal love the famous couple have enjoyed since 1998.
