Murderers of actor Johnny Wactor (General Hospital) caught

4 members of the Florencia gang were arrested in connection with the murder of 'General Hospital' actor Johnny Wactor. An official report from the Los Angeles Police Department is pending.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Robert Barceleau, Sergio Estrada, Leonel Gutierrez (18 years old), and Frank Olano, 22, on Thursday, August 15. Barceleau, Estrada, and Gutierrez have been charged with murder while Olano was charged with accessory to murder.

For weeks after the crime, seemingly over a car's catalytic converter, hundreds of people, including family and friends, had marched to city hall to demand justice. They also held a minute of silence in honor of his memory.

The actor, who was known as Brando Corbin in 'General Hospital', had tragically died in Los Angeles after being shot on the street.

The 37-year-old actor was shot after catching three thieves trying to steal his vehicle's catalytic converter. They left him critically injured.

As he caught the thieves in the act, Wactor and the criminals entered into a fight. The attackers ended it by shooting Wactor, the owner of the car.

The deceased's mother confirmed to TMZ that her son was not looking for a confrontation but just wanted to prevent them from stealing the part from his vehicle.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 26 May. Emergency services were quickly on the scene and took Wactor to the hospital alive.

However, the actor died hours later in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

Los Angeles police are investigating the case. They are confident they will find the perpetrators as quickly as possible, even though all three involved fled the scene.

The news was shocking because of the fame of the actor and the violence of the incident.

Johnny Wactor appeared in nearly 200 episodes (between 2020 and 2022) of 'General Hospital,' the longest-running series on American television.

In addition to this soap series, Johnny Wactor also appeared in series such as 'Westworld', 'NCIS' and 'Criminal Minds'.
