The film and television world in South Korea is mourning the loss of actor Song Jae-rim, who was found dead in his apartment in the Seongdong district of Seoul.

Farewell letter

The 39-year-old artist was found in his apartment along with a two-page letter, the contents of which are not yet known, as 'Soompi' reports.

The police investigation is still ongoing, even though the authorities believe that there is no evidence of any external influence or a crime

Planning the funeral

The actor's lifeless body was found on November 12. His funeral will be held at Yeouido Center, where he will be cremated and later transferred to Seoul City Cemetery, local press reports.

From model to actor

Song Jae-rim was not only an actor but also a well-known model. In 2012, he became famous through his role in the historical drama 'Moon Embracing the Sun' in which he played the bodyguard Kim Jae-woon.
