It seems an old paparazzi photo of Lady Di in the 80s, but in fact you're looking at actress Kristen Stewart playing the Princess of Hearts. A new movie is coming out with the title 'Spencer,' and its leading actress has an eerie likeness to the real person. Which other examples of great resemblance have we seen in Hollywood?

Rami Malek (left) is the protagonist of this biopic about Freddie Mercury (pictured right) and Queen. Released in 2018, the film was nominated for five Oscars, winning four. One of them was 'Best Actor' for Rami Malek.

If you go online and search 'Live Aid Side by Side Rami Malek,' you can see how impressively precisely the actor has mimicked the real singer.

'Rocketman,' the musical film about Elton John's life (pictured right) came out in 2019. Its star, Taron Egerton (left), won the 2020 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical.

Margot Robbie (left) plays Tonya Harding (pictured right) in this 2017 film about the controversies surrounding the ice-skater throughout her career. 'I, Tonya' was nominated for three Oscars, one of them in the category of 'Best Actress'. Robbie didn't win, but the Oscar for 'Best Supporting Actress' went to co-star Allison Janney.

This feature film was released in 2017 and tells the story of Alan Turing (right), the English mathematician who deciphered the code the Germans used during World War II. Although his personator Benedict Cumberbatch (left) earned an Oscar nomination for it, he didn't win the statuette in the end. The movie only won one Oscar out of its eight nominations ('Best Adapted Screenplay').

In 2013, Daniel Day-Lewis (left) played President Abraham Lincoln (right) during the statesman's final months in office. The actor won an Oscar for this remarkable performance.

This biopic about Stephen Hawking (right) was released in 2014. Eddie Redmayne (left) played the physicist. This performance earned him his Oscar in the category of 'Best Actor,' which was the only one the film received.

Leonardo DiCaprio (left) plays stockbroker Jordan Belfort (right), also known as 'the Wolf of Wall Street.' This film, based on a book with the same title, came out in 2013. In the same year, Meryl Streep (left) put herself in the shoes of the British politician Margaret Thatcher (right). The film portrays an older Margaret Thatcher who has difficulty distinguishing the past from the present. Within the film, she talks about her youth, her children and her work. The film won two Oscars - one of them was for Meryl Streep in the category of 'Best Actress' and one for 'Best Make-up.'

Recently, competition for Meryl Streep arrived in the Netflix series 'The Crown' about the British royal family. Check out the resemblance between actress Gillian Anderson (who won a Golden Globe for this role) and the Iron Lady herself.

Chiwetel Ejifor (left) plays Solomon Northup (right), a free black man in the pre-Civil War United States who was kidnapped and sold into slavery. The film, released in 2013, won three Oscars. None of them was for Ejifor, but it did win in the important categories of 'Best Film,' 'Best Supporting Actress' (Lupita Nyong'o) and 'Best Adapted Screenplay.'

'The King's Speech' debuted in 2010 and recounted how King George VI (pictured right and played by Colin Firth, left) managed to overcome his stutter. Well-deservedly, the movie received four Oscars including 'Best Actor' for Colin Firth.

In 2010 James Franco (left) impersonated Aron Ralston (pictured right), a mountaineer who got into an accident while travelling solo in Utah's Canyon Land National Park. His arm was trapped between rocks and he had to cut it off to escape.

In 2009 Audrey Tautou (left) gave life to one of the most famous designers in history; Coco Chanel (pictured right) This film tells the story of the designer from her childhood until she became the dressmaker everyone wanted to be friends with.

'Chaplin' was released in 1992 and Robert Downey Jr. (left) brought the famous silent film actor to life. Charlie Chaplin's life story was nominated for three Oscars but won none.

The film tells the story of John Forbes Nash (right), winner of the 1994 Nobel Prize in Economics. The film was released in 2001. Russell Crowe (left) plays Nash, which did not get him the Oscar, but contributed to a success that won Oscars in four other categories.

The film, which premiered in 2002, stars Salma Hayek (left) in the dizzying and dramatic life story of one of the biggest icons of the women's movement: Frida Kahlo (pictured right). The film won two statuettes for 'Best Soundtrack' and 'Best Makeup'.

Joaquin Phoenix (left) in 2005 impersonated singer Johnny Cash (right) in this feature film which tells the story of the young singer, his road to success, and his love for June Carter. The latter was played by Reese Witherspoon who earned an Oscar with that role.

Starring Will Smith (left) and his son Jaden Smith, 'In Search of Happiness' was released in 2006 and tells the true story of Chris Gardner (pictured right) who went from bankruptcy to his own multi-million dollar business.

Leonardo DiCaprio (left) brings to life Howard Hughes (pictured right), a billionaire who is obsessed with aviation. From making movies about it to flying around the world in three days, Hughes did it all. The film premiered in 2004 and was nominated for eleven Oscars, only five of which were awarded. Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Best Actor' was not among them, but his co-star Cate Blanchett did win a statuette.

In 1978, a biographical film came out about Buddy Holly (right) and his group 'The Crickets.' The film stars Gary Busey (left) and tells the story of the musician's life until his tragic death.

In 1999 Denzel Washington (left) played the famous boxer Rubin Carter (pictured right) in this feature film that chronicles his life mostly between 1966 and 1985 aside from the murder allegations and his years in prison.

Denzel Washington (left) puts himself in the shoes of the famous African-American activist and tells of his time in prison, his conversion to Islam, his marriage, and his murder. The film was released in 1992 and nominated for two Oscars and a Golden Globe, although it did not win any of them.

Released in 1993, this biography (with fictional elements) of Bruce Lee (right) starred Jason Scott Lee (left). Not only does it tell the story of the actor and martial arts specialist, but it also recounts his mysterious death while he was filming one of his movies.

James Franco (left) plays James Dean (right) from a young man to his tragic death. The film premiered in 2001 and James Franco won a Golden Globe in the category of 'Best Actor in a Mini-Series or TV Movie' for it.

Michelle Williams (left) plays Marilyn Monroe (right) in a feature film based on the books by author Colin Clark about the production of the film 'The Prince and the Chorus Girl'. 'My Week with Marilyn' was released in 2011. Williams was nominated for an Oscar as 'Best Actress' but she did not end up getting it.

This brilliant film, released in 1984, tells the story of how Antonio Salieri (pictured right), blinded by envy when relegated to second place at the Austrian emperor's court, did everything possible to ruin Mozart's career. The Oscar for 'Best Actor' went to F. Murray Abraham (left) as Antonio Salieri. In addition, the film won statuettes in seven other categories.

Forest Whitaker (left) puts himself in the shoes of saxophonist Charlie Parker (right) who was nicknamed 'Bird.' His use of substances deeply influenced his career as an artist. The film 'Bird' made its debut in 1988 and won an Oscar for Best Sound.
