Samantha Weinstein – May 14

Canadian actress Samantha Weinstein, known for productions such as the remake of 'Carrie' or 'Alias Grace', died of ovarian cancer that was detected in 2021. As the actress's family posted on Instagram: "Hello from the other side. Sam died on May 14th at 11:25 am surrounded by her loved ones at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.... She is off on her next adventure." The actress was only 28 years old.

Ray Stevenson – May 21

This Brazilian actor was missing for four months before his body was found on May 22. As published by the Brazilian media, Machado was discovered inside a trunk, buried two meters deep in a house west of Rio de Janeiro. The property had been rented by a friend of the actor who is now being investigated by the Brazilian police.

At the age of 59, the British bassist of the group The Smiths died of pancreatic cancer. “Andy will be remembered as a kind and beautiful soul by those who knew him and as a supremely gifted musician by music fans," the band's guitarist Johnny Marr posted on social media.

British author Martin Amis died at his residence in Lake Worth (Florida) from esophageal cancer. He was 73 years old.

Australian model and finalist for the national Miss Universe competition in 2022, Sienna Weir died from a horseriding accident. She had suffered a fall on April 2 and was unable to recover from the injuries.

The Spanish writer, poet, and playwright Antonio Gala was known for novels such as 'The Crimson Manuscript' (1990) and 'The Turkish Passion' (1994). He passed away at the age of 92 in the city of Córdoba.

'Rick Dalton' – May 19
