Chloë Grace Moretz, known for her roles in 'Kick-***' and 'Carrie,' has publicly declared she is a 'gay woman' in an Instagram post on November 1.

The 27-year-old actress also shared her experience of voting early in the 2024 election, and said that there was "much on the line this election." According to The Independent, she said to have voted for Kamala Harris and stressed her concern for individual rights in this campaign.

Sadly for Moretz, the support for the LGBTQ community she was hoping for in the next presidency, will probably have to wait. Donald Trump, the President-Elect has not made any liberating remarks about trans or gay people.

"I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman," Moretz said. "We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve."

She added that she firmly believes that the government has no right over women's bodies. "the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor," she wrote, in a clear stance in favor of reproductive rights.

In her post, Moretz encouraged her 24 million followers to make a plan to vote, using her platform to motivate others to actively participate in the election. She joined a group of celebrities getting involved in politics in 2024, including Taylor Swift.

According to People magazine, Moretz has been romantically linked to model Kate Harrison since 2018, when they were spotted k1ssing. The two have shared highlights of their relationship on social media, including an event they were seen at together in September.

On her Instagram profile, Moretz recently shared a picture of her and Harrison at a wedding, where they are seen enjoying themselves together. The images included affectionate poses that captured the affection between the two.

Harrison, for her part, has also posted photos alongside Moretz, including one during a march in support of the 1esbian community in New York in June 2023.

According to People magazine, the couple was also spotted at Disneyland earlier this year wearing rings on their wrists. The image sparked speculation about a possible engagement between them.
