2024 in photos: the daring and dashing SAG Awards
The SAG Awards in the Spring of 2024 brought us a spectacular red carpet. One of the most original designs of the night was this dress worn by Danielle Brooks and designed by Christian Siriano. On the one side, it simulated a black dinner jacket and, on the other, a beautifully layered skirt of purple tulle, reflecting the colour of the film she starred in ('The Color Purple').
She wasn't the only star who wore a memorable outfit on the 30th edition of the awards. An evening that recognized 'Oppenheimer' as the film of the year and Oscar favorite, with three awards. Here are some of the best photos from the red carpet.
As has been the norm during awards season, her dress was inspired by Barbie's closet. This time, this mini-dress with a giant bow is designed by Schiaparelli.
Pinstripes add that extra layer of 'suave' for this Saint Laurent look, combined with an Omega watch.
Penelope Cruz and Chanel are perfect together and never fail at big events. At the SAG Awards they opted for a blue Haute Couture design with a Bardot neckline, making this one of the stand-out outfits of the evening.
The star of 'The Bear' usually goes for white... and wins every time. Not only did he win the Best Comedy Actor Award, but he was also one of the most elegant, thanks to this Saint Laurent look.
She is sweeping all the awards, as well as the red carpets. This time she opted for an asymmetrical design by Valdrin Shahiti and Dauphin jewellery.
To say that this Prada look worn by Pedro Pascal made the odd head turn, is an understatement. From the moment he arrived until he left he demanded attention from his presence and clear style - and he got it.
Brie Larson and her toned abs looked stunning in this gorgeous Versace two-piece. The colour and style brought a serenity to the night.
The actor's Off-White design turned heads (and raised a few eyebrows!)... a usual occurrence for the Oscar nominee.
The Oscar-winning actress starred in a wonderful reunion of 'The Devil Wears Prada' on the red carpet, along with Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt and, of course, she did so in a Prada long-sleeved design, covered with diamonds.

Her dress forced those attending a sharp intake of breath, especially when she joined Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt on stage. People noticed that she was wearing Atelier Versace SS15 and not Prada, as Miranda Priestly would have demanded. The jewellery is by Bvlgari.
The third member of this nostalgic reunion was Emily Blunt, who set out to steal the spotlight in a jaw-dropping red Louis Vuitton design.
Bold transparent fabrics, mixed with the solemn and confident colour black gets our thumbs up. Ladies and Gentlemen, witness the magic created by Christian Dior for Naomi Watts.
The Oscar-winner also went for a beautiful black design with lace and sheer fabrics, by Armani Privé.
An interesting and original Luar design, with Gianvito Rossi shoes, worn by one of the stars of the night.
Almost like a bride on her wedding day, the actress looked wonderful in this sophisticated white dress, spotted with glitter, by Atelier Versace.
Always perfect, always smiling and always, it seems, in a good mood. Emma Stone opted for this metallic and beaded Louis Vuitton design that suited her down to the ground.
The colour of the dress, the neck detail, the cut, the length. Everything about this one stands out as perfection. Undoubtedly, one of the best designs of the evening, designed by Off-White.
Jennifer Aniston is timeless and so is her classiness... as she made it clear to the world in this delicious Celine design with a silver V-neckline.
A bit of see-through fabric, a touch of floral, a dab of sensuality and a bundle of class was brought to the red carpet by Joey King. We loved this Givenchy design and jewellery by Pomellato.

Combining her 190 cm beauty with this gorgeous blue lace and open back design by Armani Privé could only spell success for 'The Crown' actress.
Red is the colour of the season and Lily Gladstone knows it. She arrived (and left!) in a bight Armani Privé design with Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery.
Vivienne Westwood was the timeless designer behind the singer's original look.
The actress, AKA Agatha on screen, opted for a white satin Givenchy design with a draped trim and finished with beautiful silk gloves.
One of the stars of 'Barbie' was also one of the stars of the red carpet, wearing a magnificent red velvet design by Vera Wang.
The 'Barbie' co-star knows that classic styles look great on her, and this black Dior Haute Couture with white silk sleeves ticked all the boxes once again.
This asymmetrical dress was decorated with ruffles and twirls, somewhat simulating a mummy... but we still liked it and thought it very original. Hats off to Alexander McQueen.
Another actress who always never fails to impress on a red carpet, in this case with this twisting golden design by Armani Privé.
She hit the red carpets this year and made a splash. She continues to do so, thanks to designs like this wonderful Dolce & Gabbana burgundy tulle number.
You can't not look at this head-turning and surprising design by Iris Van Herpen Haute Couture for one of the comedy actresses of the year.
The Oscar-winning actress knows that red suits her and has not hesitated to take advantage of the fact in this fabulous Elie Saab Haute Couture.
McCarthy has always had an interest in fashion and she looks confident and brave in this original metallic design with XXL sleeves by Puey Quiñones.
Finishing off with this wonderful custom design by Balmain. We certainly have a few outfits from the SAG Awards 2024 that will be remembered for a long time...
