In this case, the actress wanted to talk about her own funeral, how to deal with it, and, above all, about the people she does not want to attend it.

It happened on her podcast, 'Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty', in an episode in which she was accompanied by Chris Cortazzo, her best friend, executor of her will, and, according to the actress herself, the person who knows her best.

And precisely because there was trust, Shannen Doherty could talk freely about how she had planned her own funeral. She said, frankly: "There's a lot of people that I think would show up that I don't want there."

The reason? Very simple: "I don't want them there because their reasons for showing up aren't necessarily the best reasons," she said on the podcast.

"They don't really like me," she said. "And, you know, they have their reasons, and good for them, but they don't actually really like me enough to show up to my funeral but they will, because it's the politically correct thing to do and they don't want to look bad."

"I abhor fakeness, she said, "and I can't stand people who want to all of the sudden pretend that they found Jesus and they're so sorry and they repent and they didn't mean anything bad that they said about you."

"I know you're still the exact same petty human being. Don't. Just stay away from me."

The actress spoke harsh words on the podcast but she refused to name any specific person she was talking about. From her words, we can deduce that the people in question know who they are.

Shannen Doherty did not give in to Chris Cortazzo when he asked her for names on the covert 'uninvited' list she just mentioned. "It's too long," Shannen Doherty said.

In her professional life, Shannen Doherty has had some issues with other actors. For example, as 'Beverley Hills 90210' co-star Jennie Garth (left on the photo) told Andy Cohen on his talk show, Doherty once pulled up her skirt when an argument between the two actresses became physical.

Will she name names one day? It's possible. Shannen Doherty is unchained and her podcast is the perfect outlet for her messages, whatever they may be. She doesn't have much longer to live, so the consequences of anything she says, will be limited.

In the summer of 2023, the actress confirmed that her cancer was stage 4, that the metastasis had reached the brain and the cancer had spread to the bones. A dire situation, indeed.
