The cute motorcycle influencer who turned out to be a man
A huge scandal broke out when it was discovered that this beautiful biker influencer was, in reality, a 50-year-old man.
Known as Azusagakuyuki on social media, this influencer impersonated a beautiful woman with the help of FaceApp who shared her motorbike travels through Japan.
She even uploaded some sexy pictures to her social networks, showing off her smooth skin and beautiful hair.
Thanks to her activity and photos, her popularity on twitter was on the rise, now over 25 thousand followers, all thanks to her photogenetic appearance with her motorbikes.
The biker also shows that she takes care of the repair and maintenance of her motorcycles herself.
But little by little, as she was gaining followers, some details emerged that began to set off alarm bells about who she really was. In some photographs, for example, it was noticeable that she had a lot of hair on her arm.
In addition, the influencer made a photo slip-up when a man appeared in the reflection of the rear-view mirror in what was supposed to be a selfie of the alleged young woman on her motorbike.
Following a tip from one follower that the young woman might be someone else, the TV programme 'Getsuyou Kara Yofukashi' (Monday Late Show) decided to investigate her further.
Finally, the programme revealed that the person behind the user 'Azusagakuyuki' is actually a 50-year-old man named 'Zonggu'.
The man, originally from Ibaraki prefecture in Japan, was discovered by the programme's reporters, the 'AS' website states.
They found the influencer when he was on the street with one of his motorbikes, and they forced him to remove his helmet and show his true identity.
Zonggu justified his online transformation to the reporters: "Nobody wants to see a normal middle-aged man taking care of his motorbike and posting pictures of his own face on this account," he told the programme 'Getsuyou Kara Yofukashi'.
He had tried the transformation one time. Then, to increase his likes and followers on social media, he decided to continue uploading photos of himself with a woman's face.
"When I tried it at first, it turned out to be quite nice," Zonggu said. "Now I get up to 1,000 likes, whereas before it used to be less than 10 for each photo."
Zonggu used the FaceApp application to create his female alter ego. As he got more and more likes, he thought it was a good idea to continue with the hoax. The influencer admits that he "got carried away while trying to make it prettier."
You may recall that the FaceApp application caused quite a stir on social media last year, with many celebrities using it to find out what they would look like if they were of the opposite sex. Here's the male Scarlett Johansson, for example.

Of course, all this brought to the table the issue of authenticity on social media, where filters and retouched images abound to hide people's imperfections.
There's also the question of catfishing: people pretending to be someone else and leading on others who fall in love with their fake character.
With regard to Zonggu, however, the majority of his followers and critics responded positively. They didn't mind the deception very much and actually said that he was quite skillful in using the application.
