Why is Meghan Markle not attending Prince Philip's funeral?

The loss of a cherished family member is always hard, but the death of Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, comes at a time when Harry and Meghan are in absolute crisis with Buckingham Palace. Prince Harry will attend Philip's funeral but Meghan will not. According to the couple, the reasons for her absence are strictly medical.
