On February 25, 2024, the Independent Spirit Awards were given to the best performances on TV and in film in the past year. Among the contenders for several TV awards was the series 'Beef,' with its protagonists Ali Wong and Steven Yeun in the photo, but also 'The Last of Us.'

Three movies got the most nominations

In the film categories this year, titles such as 'American Fiction', 'Past Lives', and 'The Holdovers' (image, Focus Features) got the most awards.
