Emma Stone: actress, mother and new home-owner in Texas

Stone and her husband Dave McCary bought a home in Texas last May. 'Dirt' reveals that she bought a 5,000 square foot, four bedroom, three and a half bathroom traditional-style property located in Austin.

Emma Stone has bought in a place surrounded by fellow A-Listers, including Renée Zellweger and Sandra Bullock. Architectural Digest reveals that, although the exact price Stone paid for the property is unknown, it would likely be more than the $4million it was last valued at.

According to Archetectural Digest, the house features a brick exterior with homely blue shutters and a garden full of greenery. Her new home also boasts a large swimming pool where she can enjoy with her new family.

In March 2021, Emma Stone gave birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles. There was not much information about baby Stone, as Emma has always tried to keep her private life as private as possible. Her pregnancy wasn’t even announced - it was only thanks to photos taken of Ms Stone taking a walk with her friend in LA that the public had even gotten a view of her cradling her baby bump.

Emma Stone’s husband is Dave McCary, best known as a segment director for Saturday Night Live until 2019. It was during this show that Emma and Dave met for the first time. He is an American Comedian, writer and director who started out forming his own sketch comedy group at college.

At the time, a source told ‘People’, Emma was "professional in every way, very talented and focused on her work, and Dave respects that. He totally supports her and is unselfish in his desire for her success. Those are great qualities in a man for someone like Emma. She is impressed by his talent and respects him immensely. Two highly successful people in the entertainment business don't always give the other the space they need. But he encourages her, and she loves that.”

A source had told E! News that the couple had both been “very excited about her pregnancy and what’s to come… She’s felt very lucky that she got to be at home during this period of time and wasn't working long days on set." Emma said in an interview that it wasn’t always her dream to get married and start a family but as she grew older it started to become more prominent in her thoughts.

Before the news of Emma’s pregnancy came out, some media reported that she had dropped out of a film project with Brad Pitt as a co-star. The film was 'Babylon' by director Damien Chazelle (La La Land). It was scheduled to be filmed before the pandemic. The cast's 'conflict' in schedules that media referred to, may have been related to Emma Stone’s growing belly.

The world saw the arrival of ‘Cruella’, Emma Stone’s new Disney movie that was released on streaming services on May 28th 2021.
