On January 9, 2022, the world was shocked by the sad and unexpected passing of Bob Saget, the comedian who brought us 'Full House' and 'America's Funniest Home Videos.'

Bob Saget's death at age 65 in a Florida hotel was mysterious for a while. However, after one month of investigation, authorities claimed they knew what had happened. Tragically, Saget's passing was probably preventable.

The actor's family revealed in a statement that the comedian had died of a brain hemorrhage caused by a blow to the head. "Now that we have the final conclusions of the investigation, we felt it was appropriate for fans to hear the conclusions directly from us."

According to TMZ, Bob Saget had a large bruise on the back of his head. He must have had a severe blow there, because it was determined by the authorities as the cause of his death.

TMZ states that the authorities were not able to determine which object hit his head. They suspect that it may have been an accidental smack against the headboard of the bed.

As it turns out, Bob Saget did not give the blow the importance it required. Instead of going to the doctor, he got into bed, wrapped himself up, and went to sleep. He would never wake up.

There will always be the question of what would have happened if he had not made that decision. Saget had arrived at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, after performing in Jacksonville, at 2:00 in the morning. His body was found in his hotel room at 4 p.m. that day - 14 hours later.

The comedian had been found alone in his hotel room with no signs of violence or traces of substances, TMZ reports, so the first hypotheses of police officers were that he'd had a heart attack or a stroke. The reality had been very different though.

Police sources told TMZ that it was the position of his body that had pointed to a heart attack. They found him lying on his back in bed, with his left arm on his chest.

In addition, the sources consulted by TMZ explained that Bob Saget might have had Covid-19, which is known to lead to blood clots that, in turn, could lead to a stroke or heart attack. All in all, there were several elements that pointed to heart failure.

However, it was all speculation because, as the Orange County Coroner's office said, the results of the autopsy and the causes of death would not be known until after 12 weeks. In the end, though, answers arrived in little more than 4 weeks.

During this difficult month, Bob Saget's television family said goodbye to him on social media. Candace Cameron, DJ Tanner in 'Full House,' was one of the first to address her late television father.

Candace Cameron posted a photo that put a lump in the throat of millions of fans. "I love you so much. I don't want to say goodbye to you. 35 years is not long enough." It was the goodbye of a 'daughter.'

Uncle Joey had been friends with Bob Saget until the last day. His "I love you so much" was one of the most sincere things written to him.

"I feel lucky to feel as sad as I am because it means I met and loved a very special person," said comedian Nikki Glaser.

"I love you". BJ Novak, star from 'The Office,' was the last guest to drop by Bob Saget's podcast, just days before his death.

The actress was his daughter in 'Full House' and her words show that he was a real family man. "Bob Saget was the best. So nice. He talked about his kids all the time."

TMZ was the first to report that the actor and comedian passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office officially confirmed Bob Saget's death. The circumstances of his passing led the authorities to cover all kinds of scenarios.

"Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room," the Sheriff’s office shared on Twitter. "The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case."

Bob Saget was on tour in the United States with his show 'I Don't Do Negative'.

The tour had started in September and was going to end in Houston, Texas, in June 2022.

In fact, hours before his death, the comedian had performed his show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville.

Saget earned worldwide fame for playing Danny Tanner in 'Full House' (1987-1995). For eight seasons and 192 episodes, he was one of the world's most beloved fathers on television.

Danny Tanner not only gave him fame, but a television family that he preserved over the years.

In fact, the actor repeated his role in 'Fuller House', the reboot that Netflix made of the original series, with Danny Tanner's daughters as the protagonists.

Beyond his role in 'Full House', Bob Saget also achieved great fame presenting 'America's Funniest Home Videos', between 1989 and 1997.

The actor also worked as the narrator of 'How I Met Your Mother,' had a recurring role in 'Entourage,' and was even one of the famous guests on 'The Masked Singer.'

In addition, Bob Saget had launched into the adventure of podcasts, with one entitled 'Bob Saget's Here For You.'

Now, what not everyone knows, is that Bob Saget was one of the sharpest comedians in all of America. Without filters and with direct humor, the nearly year-long tour he was doing in the United States made it clear that he was a comedy star.

Bob Saget left behind his wife, Kelly Rizzo, who he'd been married to since 2018. From 1982 until 1997, he was also married to Sherri Kramer.

From his first marriage, Bob Saget had three daughters: Aubrey Saget (1987), Lara Melanie Saget (1989), and Jennifer Belle Saget (1989).

Saget's daughters said at his goodbye:
"We ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: be kind to everyone, let the people you love know it, and face the difficult moments with hugs and laughter."
