MrBeast accused of eating people: Problems in YouTube paradise
The renowned YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is being investigated following shocking accusations of c a n n i balism, the Marca website reports.
The complaint arose after TV chef Rosanna Pansino shared messages from the YouTuber where this topic was supposedly discussed. She claims to have handed these records to the FBI for investigation, Newsweek reports.
Known for his altruistic acts and viral videos, MrBeast has amassed a large fan base. Amidst the scandalous accusations, they have expressed support for the YouTuber and skepticism about the allegations.
In addition to the can n i b a l ism accusation, MrBeast is also under investigation by the FBI for other alleged inappropriate behavior. The allegations have created quite a stir online, especially since the YouTuber's audience includes a large number of young people.
MrBeast's messages, shared by Pansino, mention other sensitive and inappropriate topics. In addition, she refers to internal discussions between employees who collaborated with MrBeast, raising more doubts about the safety of his work environment.
MrBeast currently has over 320 million subscribers on YouTube and a fortune valued at $500 million, according to Marca. The YouTuber is famous for his big contests and philanthropic activities.
Among the accusations against the YouTuber are claims that some of his videos have been 'manipulated' to present false content. He made things appear true or spontaneous while they were not, Newsweek reports his critics as saying.
This is not the first controversy MrBeast has faced. In the past, he was also criticized for hiring a collaborator who had a history of s e * crimes. The issue has resurfaced along with the new accusations.
Pansino, who has become famous for her YouTube videos as well as TV performances, said the investigations have "awakened something" in her. She says she feels a responsibility to expose these issues to the public.
While investigations are ongoing, MrBeast's team has not issued an official comment on the matter, Newsweek reports. Nor has the FBI said anything about the case.
