Anatomy of Scandal - 13th April (Netflix)

Many of the most great psychological thrillers of recent times have been based on affairs, and the highly anticipated courtroom drama 'Anatomy Of A Scandal' looks to be no different.
Starring Rupert Friend and Sienna Miller as James and Sophie Whitehouse, the story follows a government minister whose seemingly perfect marriage is rocked by the emergence of a scandalous secret.

Hard Cell, Season 1 - 13th April (Netflix)

Set in a fictional women's prison, this mockumentary follows staff and prioners as they rehearse a musical to be performed in the prison. Written by and starring comedian Catherine Tate, taking on multiple roles, including Laura Willis, the governor who strongly believes creativity is the best route to rehabilitation.

The Bubble - 1st April (Netflix)

In this comedy, the cast of a successful dinosaur action franchise tries to film a sequel without leaving their pandemic bubble in a hotel. The cast includes Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Pedro Pascal and Leslie Mann, among others.

Better Nate Than Ever - 1st April (Disney Plus)

Lisa Kudrow, Joshua Bassett and Rueby Wood join the new cast for this Disney Plus Premiere. Nate is a young musical fanatic who, after being rejected for his school play, decides to try and make it on Broadway.

Moon Knight - Wednesdays in April (Disney Plus)

It began on 30th March but we have to include the remainder of the episodes in the April new releases. Weekly - Wednesdays on Disney Plus - it's not to be missed. A former US Marine, struggling with dissociative identity disorder, is given the powers of an Egyptian moon god. But he quickly discovers that these newfound powers can be both a blessing and a curse to his already complicated life.

Bosch, Season 4 - 13th April (Prime Original)

The popular Prime Original series based on Michael Connelly's novels returns for a fourth season. Titus Welliver stars as Harry Bosch. He is a troubled loner who, despite not fitting in with the rest of the department, is nonetheless a top-notch detective for the LAPD.

Tokyo Vice - 7th April (HBO)

Inspired by a true story, this series follows Jake (Ansel Elgort), a foreign journalist in Japan who is searching for what really lies beneath the city of Tokyo in the Japanese criminal world. He starts discovering secrets that could expose more than the truth, perhaps even his own life. This series of power and corruption is directed by Michael Mann.

Metal Lords - 8th April (Netflix)

From the co-creator of "Game of Thrones", DB Weiss, comes "Metal Lords" A tale of friendship, love, adolescence, drama, comedy... and pure heavy metal! Two boys want to start a metal band, but they are the only ones in school interested in the music. The search for a bassist is complicated, although there is a girl who plays the cello. Will they find their groove in time for the battle of the bands?

Choose or Die - 15th April (Netflix)

A broke student searching for an unclaimed $100,000 prize wanders into a dark 1980s survival computer game. After a series of terrifying unexpected events, he soon realises that he is no longer playing for just the money, but also for his life.

The Flight Attendant, Season 2 - 21st April (HBO)

The second season of this series, which follows the stewardess Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) who is rehabilitating after having problems with alcohol. Living now in Los Angeles and with a new job, however, there are secrets that haunt her. The big name arriving for the second season is Sharon Stone, who will play Lisa Bowden, Ella's Cassie's mother. And things rarely run smoothly.

A Very British Scandal - 22nd April (Amazon Prime)

After airing on the BBC almost a year ago, 'A Very British Scandal' is finally coming to Prime Video. The drama series follows Claire Foy, and Paul Bettany as the Duchess and Duke of Argyll who went through a very public divorce in the '60s.

Silverton Siege - 27th April (Netflix)

Who doesn't love a true story? This Netflix film, coming to us at the end of the month, centres around three young freedom fighters and their face off with police that helped spark the Free Nelson Mandela movement in South Africa.

Bubbles - 28th April (Netflix)

The story takes place in Tokyo, after bubbles rained down on Earth that nullified gravity. Cut off from the outside world, Tokyo has become a battleground for a group of young people who lost their families and compete in parkour teams by jumping from one building to another. Hibiki, famous for his reckless style, carelessly slips into a move and plunges into a floating sea. But Uta, a girl with mysterious powers, saves his life from him. And then, there is a singular sound that only the two of them can hear. Why did Uta appear before Hibiki? The encounter leads to a revelation that will change the world.

Grace and Frankie, Season 7 - 29th April (Netflix)

One of Netflix's longest-running series returns with its final batch of episodes at the end of the month.The well-loved show follows Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein, who become two very unlikely friends after their husbands announce they are in love with each other and plan to get married.
