The best looks from the 2022 Oscar afterparties

US actress Marlee Matlin and British actress Emilia Jones attended the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. They joined the many who went for metalic materials on this year's red carpets. The silver and gold reflecting the camera flashes was impressive.

Vin Diesel looked suave alongside model Paloma Jiménez, who looked looked Grecian and graceful at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party following the 94th Oscars.

Director and actress Maggie Gyllenhaal is, like many, in awe of the spectacle that is actress Dakota Johnson. She joined other celebrities at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, but she certainly stood out.

Also arriving at the Vanity Fair party was actress (and Oscar winner!) Jessica Chastain. Not only does the actress pair her hair colour with her gown perfectly but she doesn't overdo the metalic style with the glistening wrap-around skirt. Beautiful.

Barbie Ferreira opted for a striking splash of colour. The Fendi gown with sunset coloured stripes also boasted a the train that just works. As does her sunset-theme makeup design.

Kelly Rowland simply looked magnificent. Somehow the 'Destinys Child' alum managed to mix 21st century style with 20s flapper fashion and a ballet leotard underneath. Draped in fabulousness.

Paris Jackson deserves a mention on this list. Not simply because she showed up ready for a catwalk, but to also compliment her makeup designer. And hairdresser, of course. The 'I just woke up like this and put my hair up' look. Impossible to recreate at ease.

Yes, another metalic outfit. Serena Williams is worth a mention, however, as she really shone at the Vanity Fair Party. The cut, along with the the limited adornments, are kind to the eyes and brings focus to her natural beauty.

Sophie Turner revealed she was expecting baby number two earlier this year and she is really glowing with the news. Her dress certainly helped - conservative yet fun. Joe Jonas (with some good bling) on her arm certainly helps.

One of the world's highest paying models, Puerto Rican Joan Smalls, rocked the metalic vs plume. She looked great and it was a certain improvement from her previous outfit that bared all at the Oscars 2020.

Alessandra Ambrosio is another who went for the ballet leotard under a see-through gown. The spectacular sheeny opaque wrap added elegance to the look.

Simu Liu absolutely nailed this one. What else can we say?

Singer/songwriter Jon Batiste went for something truly original. And we are a fan. The detail and the colour of his suit made for a real showstopper.

As if the couple weren't aesthetically perfect enough, Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey were arguably the best dressed of the evening. Applause.

American songwriter Philip Lawrence attended the 30th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation 94th Oscars Viewing Party in Los Angeles and looked ready for it. The white rim glasses, the hat, the bling... it worked.

Israeli actor Ronen Rubinstein opted for a homage to the East London Pearly Kings and Queens - or at least it seemed that way. Many Brits watching know exactly where he took his inspiration from.
