Some people really have money to throw away… The false nail that fell off the singer's finger during a concert in Dublin was sold to a fan for  $12,000.

In 2010, three X-rays of Marilyn Monroe's chest sold for $ 45,000. Who has that kind of money to spare??!!

3. Marilyn Monroe's "Happy birthday" dress: $4.8 million

It is by far the most expensive dress in the world. Marilyn Monroe wore it during her performance of 'Happy Birthday, Mr. President' at Madison Square Garden. In 2016 the dress sold for $4.8 million. At this price, we would expect that whoever purchased the dress will be keeping it under lock and key. But no, in 2022, Kim Kardashian wore the original piece on the red carpet of the Met Gala - and she damaged it...

5. A letter written on the Titanic: £119,000

Another item from the legendary Titanic. Esther Hart wrote this letter eight hours before the sinking of the ship. It is the last letter written aboard the Titanic. Auctioned off for £119,000, it had remained in good condition as it was placed in the pocket of the coat Esther's husband gave her when she boarded a lifeboat. Tragic.

6. Kate Winslet's dress in the movie 'Titanic': $330,000

One of the dresses worn by the actress Kate Winslet in the film 'Titanic' was purchased for $330,000 in 2012. This is the dress that Rose wears when she first meets Jack - the young Leonardo DiCaprio - on the boat.

This gold Cartier Tank watch, which belonged to Jackie Kennedy, is very popular with watch enthusiasts.
