The world watches: fabulously dressed guests at the extravagant Ambani wedding

To celebrate the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant at the Jio World Convention Centre, the world was looking to see extravagance, celebrities and, of course, style. They delivered all three and we look at the most stylish and best dressed guests at the ceremony.

Mukesh Ambani, the groom's father is the richest man in Asia, with a net worth of $123.3 billion as of July 2024. So he has cash to burn. Gold was the main colour of choice for both outfits and the jewellery that accompanied the lavish garments.

Nearly all of the invitees wore traditional dress with the mother of the groom, Nita Ambani, dazzling guests and media alike at every stage of the there-day celebration. There were a few costume changes!

The bangles, the necklaces and head jewels glistened under the lights. We love this adornment from Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who read the 'luxury' brief and turned up at the blessing ceremony looking a million dollars.

It was a fabulous opportunity for many, including Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, to go 'all out' with their outfits. Jewels, crystals, gold, rhinestones - you name it. There was free licence and it was impossible to go over the top.

Those who attended respected the dress code. FIFA president Gianni Infantino - Italian/Swiss - even added a touch of bling.

There was no doubt in anyone's mind who invited Indian film director Atlee Kumar and wife. One may assume they were sitting on the groom's side.

It is nearly impossible for Priyanka Chopra Jonas to look anything but spectacular. At the ceremony she was, once again, a vision in amber next to her husband, Nick Jonas, in daring pink sequins. They didn't match but individually looked fabulous.

Included in this list 1) for the boldness of his colour choices and 2) because it is John Cena.
