If what insiders say is true, season 5 of '1000 Lb Sisters' will be a dramatic one. According to In Touch Magazine, back in June 2023, a fan shared on TikTok that she saw the Slaton family filming some new episodes for the show in Florida during a trip to the beach.

In July 2023, The U.S. Sun reported that a friend of Tammy's claimed that the Slaton's trip to the beach did not end well. The source said that Tammy, Amy, and their other sister, Amanda, ended up in a physical fight, and filming had to stop.

Tammy's friend told the publication that the three sisters "really go into it" and that the film crew "felt uncomfortable working with them because of the way they were behaving."
