Actress Kate Micucci (Big Bang Theory): her fight against lung cancer
Kate Micucci, the actress of 'The Big Bang Theory', revealed through her social media that she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She had to undergo surgery to get it removed.
The 43-year-old American actress uploaded a video to her Tiktok, where 263,000 people follow her, to share with her fans what she was going through.
"Hey everybody, this is not a TikTok, it's a 'Sick Tok. I'm in the hospital but it's because I had lung cancer surgery yesterday. They caught it really early. It's really weird, because I've never smoked a c i g a r e t t e in my life so, you know, it was a surprise, but also, I guess it happens," Kate explained.

In good spirits, Kate indicated that, fortunately, the cancer was diagnosed at an early stage.
"They got it out. I'm all good. But it's been a little bit of a trip and [I'll] probably be moving a little slow for a few weeks but then I'll be back at it. Can't wait to be painting more, which, I'll be painting soon I think," the actress said.
In the video, there's also a part in which she is walking through the hospital corridors in the company of her husband, music composer Jake Sinclair.
In a good mood, the actress also showed some of the food they were giving her in the hospital: cereal and banana. In any case, she expected to return home and to her normal life soon.

And although her revelation surprised all her followers, they are happy that the actress, overall, is fine.
Kate began her career in television series such as 'Malcolm in the Middle' and 'Four Kings', but became best known for her participation in 'The Big Bang Theory'.
The actress also acted in 'Scrubs', playing Stephanie Gooch, and in 'Raising Hope', playing the role of Shelley.
In addition to being an actress, Kate is a comedian, artist, singer, and songwriter. Last November, she released an album of children's songs titled 'My Hat'.
And the actress has lent her voice to dozens of characters in animated series such as 'Nature Cat', 'Doc McStuffins: The Doc and Bella Are In!', 'Central Park' and 'Monster High'.
Without a doubt, they have been difficult times for Kate, but it seems that she has faced them with total integrity and, very much in her style, with a good attitude.
