Celebrities who died in car accidents in 2022

The picture shows actress Anne Heche at an awards ceremony in March 2022. The famous performer could not have imagined then that, just a few months later, she would suffer a serious car accident and die from the injuries. Unfortunately, she was not the only celebrity to die in such circumstances.

An influencer from the US, Alexandra Dulin was better known as Ali Spice on her social media. She worked at Hooters and had over 1 million subscribers to her TikTok. Her death was a tragedy: a drunk driver crashed into her vehicle and then fled the scene.

Brazilian influencer Lara Cleaver Afonso died on October 24 in Brazil after a car accident on a highway in Sao Paulo. She was not traveling alone - at her side was Dara, her twin sister, who is also an influencer. Unlike Lara, Dara was only injured during the accident. The main hypothesis is that Lara, who was driving the vehicle, fell asleep while driving.

The famous American actor, known for his work in the series 'Will and Grace' and 'American Horror Story', lost his life on October 24th, at the age of 67, in a traffic accident three kilometers from the Hollywood Walk of Fame (Los Angeles). According to TMZ, seconds before the accident the actor suffered a heart attack that caused him to lose control of the car.

Singer Willie Spence, 23, known for his participation (and second-place finish) on season 19 of the talent show 'American Idol', was killed in an unfortunate traffic accident in Tennessee. Spence's vehicle struck the back of a truck while he was traveling in his SUV from Atlanta to Tennessee.

Dutch motorcycle racer Victor Steeman passed away on October 11th in an unfortunate motorcycle accident at the Portuguese Grand Prix. He was only 22 years old. To add to the tragedy, his mother, Flora van Limbeek, died only two days later of a heart attack.

At the age of 28, the Spanish actress Beatriz Álvarez-Guerra died in a fatal car accident. The vehicle in question was driven by her boyfriend, who drove it into a river. She could not escape from it and lost her life inside.

Roger E. Mosley, famous for his work on the 1980s crime series 'Magnum, P.I.,' died at the age of 83 in an car accident in Lynwood, California.

American actress and producer Anne Heche, known for her work in the 1997 film 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', died after having been in a coma for five days. She had crashed into a house in Los Angeles under suspicious circumstances. Anne Heche was 53 years old.

Actors Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar lost their lives on August 16th in a tragic traffic accident in Mexico, where they were filming the Netflix series 'The Chosen One'. They were traveling in the van that was transporting the actors and crew of 'The Chosen One'. Just a few hours earlier they had taken a photo with some of the cast.

Julio Jiménez, legendary Spanish cyclist, died at the age of 87 from injuries sustained in a car accident. His vehicle had crashed into a wall in the city of Ávila, at the exit of a car wash.

The Argentinian singer El Noba, died at the age of 25 in the ICU in Buenos Aires, where he had been admitted ten days earlier as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney lost his life at the age of 25 in an automobile accident on the Woodall Rodgers Highway in Dallas. The athlete was traveling in excess of the speed limit.

Freddy Rincón, a Colombian soccer player and coach, played for both the Colombian national team and Real Madrid. He died at the age of 55 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident that took place on Monday, April 11th in the Colombian city of Cali. Apparently, the van he was in collided with a bus.

Miss Alabama 2021, Zoe Sozo, passed away as a result of a traffic accident in Miami. She was left in a coma with significant brain damage. She could not survive the injuries.

Czech rider Jakub Gurecky, 16, died after an accident while training on a minibike on a track in Slovakia. He was one of the young up-coming stars of motorcycling and won the Northern Talent Cup in 2021.

Leire Iribarne, singer, vocalist and keyboard player of the group Diabolo Kiwi, died at the age of 24 in a traffic accident near the French town of Salies-de-Béarn. The vehicle she was in collided with a wild boar.

Ahmet Çalik, a Turkish soccer player for the Konyaspor team and (previously) Galatasaray, died after being involved in a traffic accident south of Ankara. He was just 27 years old.

Trinidadian Olympic medalist Deon Lendore (bronze in the 4X400 at London 2012) lost his life in a traffic accident in Texas, United States.
