The season's latest trends

Spring is here! And with a new season comes new trends. So what have the fashion designers got in store for us in Spring/Summer 2024-5? What pieces will we find on the shelves of our favourite boutiques in the near future? We'll give you a few hints.

Low waist dress

The drop-waist dress is THE trend for Spring/Summer 2024-5. Somewhere between carefree and avant-garde, this piece had its heyday in the 2010s, before completely disappearing from our radar. Will you dare to wear it when the sun comes out?

Polka dot

Another major trend this season: polka dots are making a major comeback in our wardrobes. From Hollywood parties to the catwalks of Fashion Week, polka-dot dresses are everywhere and in all shapes and sizes: small, big, white, black, 3D...

Silver

The Oscars red carpet is often a taste of the trends to come. And this year, the colour silver was the star attraction. This spring, silver will be worn from head to toe: tops, dresses, trousers, bags and shoes - no item will be spared.

XXL Blazer

In recent years, the XXL blazer has become a must-have for it girls. Loved for its exaggerated shape and comfort, this piece offers a masculine touch to any look, while adding a great deal of elegance.

Floral inspiration

Flowers have always been associated with Spring and, although they've been seen before and seen again, designers never tire of them, bringing out new floral designs every year. The year 2024 is no exception.

Fringes

This season also champions the return of fringes, and we're not just talking about haircuts. On our skirts, coats, or handbags, fringes will accompany our every move to give them even more grace.

Pencil skirt

Rising to prominence in the 1940s, the pencil skirt is now a timeless classic, characterised by its slim fit. A symbol of femininity, it will dress us this season with chic and elegance, for day or evening.

50 shades of purple

Lilac, mauve, lavender, purple. All shades of purple will be in vogue this Summer! On a garment or accessory, purple will add a subtle, modern touch to your sunny outfit.

Bermuda shorts

Bermuda shorts regularly find themselves at the heart of heated debates between fashion fans: some appreciate their casual style, while others criticise their lack of elegance. But will you be following the trend and adopting them in the Summer?

Low-waisted jeans

Say goodbye to the high waist, the king of jeans is now the low waist. Very popular in the 2000s, low-rise jeans made a slow comeback in previous seasons and are now a must-have.

The colour red

On the catwalks of the Fashion Week shows, we saw red. Lots and lots of red! This season's flagship colour, it can be found in little touches or as a full look for just about every occasion.

Double denim

Once considered a fashion faux pas, double denim has become increasingly popular with each passing season. For those who don't know, it involves combining two denim pieces - a jacket and a skirt, for example - at the top and bottom to create a casual, bold look.

Pastel bag

When it comes to handbags, pastels will be in vogue for the next few months. Blue, yellow, pink, green... Pastels evoke softness, femininity and delicacy, making them a winning choice for the Summer season.

Minimalist bag

The minimalist bag can be worn with both casual outfits and more formal looks. Stylish and practical, it's one of the must-have accessories in your wardrobe for Spring and Summer.

Half-moon bag

Already a trend last Autumn and Winter, the half-moon (or crescent) bag will be on our shelves again this Spring. Whether mini or maxi, this handbag shape is a welcome change from the classics.

Leopard print shoes

When it comes to footwear, the focus this season is on prints, particularly leopard. Considered a fashion classic, leopard print is always a safe bet for enhancing an outfit. If you're wearing leopard print shoes, make sure you keep your outfit balanced by avoiding an overload of patterns. Pair them with plain or neutral-toned clothes.

Red loafers

This season's ultimate trend, red loafers will add character to your look, with or without a heel. Modern, elegant and bold, this pair of shoes is perfect for Spring. A number of stars have already succumbed to this fashion trend, including Hailey Bieber and Emma Stone.
