Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and other celebrities say goodbye to Aaron Carter

Aaron Carter's ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan is one of the celebrities who reacted with grief to the news of his untimely death. She told ET: "My heart goes out to his family and may he rest in peace... And God bless him."

Aaron Carter was found dead in the bathtub of his home on November 5, 2022. The news took Hollywood by storm, as evidenced by the number of celebrities who have said their goodbyes to the young singer.

Friends, colleagues, and even ex-partners wanted to say goodbye to Aaron Carter from their social media. They reflected on the 34-year-old singer's life, largely pondering how good a person he was, but also on difficult parts of his trajectory.

The actress, who had a relationship with Aaron Carter while still a teenager, remembered that moment on Instagram. She also reflected on how hard life has been for the singer.

"I'm deeply sorry that life was so hard for you and that you had to struggle in-front of the whole world," she wrote to the late Aaron Carter.

The actress shared a photo on Instagram of herself with Aaron Carter, some twenty years ago. She also wished strength to the singer's family.

The boyband of the 80s and 90s dedicated a beautiful farewell to Aaron Carter.

Saying they are "shocked and saddened with the sudden passing of Aaron Carter," they say goodbye to the singer and offer support to his family with a perfectly chosen photo.

In fact, one of the illustrious members of 'New Kids On The Block,' Joey McIntyre, emphasized the talent of Aaron Carter. He said the young man could have been a big star with the "right guidance."

The songwriter of tracks like 'Rhythm of the Night' and 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' was very direct in her farewell to Aaron Carter.

"Fame at a young age is often more a curse than a blessing and Surviving it is not easy. RIP Aaron," she tweeted.

The navy veteran and actor from 'Abbott Elementary' was also quite clear in his farewell tweet: "Addiction is a tough road."

The singer-songwriter's farewell was one of the most emotional and heartfelt because she posted several tweets, telling how she was a fan of Aaron Carter as a young girl.

She also referred to their recent friendship. "I just talked to you on Wednesday & you seemed in good spirits," she says in one of the tweets.

The comedian recalled in a tweet that she met Aaron Carter in her show 'The Real' in 2018.

I felt that he was trying... he really was just trying to be happy," Loni Love tweeted. It was tough for the singer.

The singer-songwriter, who also played a part in 'Walk the Line' as a young Elvis, tweeted that the news about Aaron Carter was "heartbreaking."

"This kid had such a spark," Tyler Hilton posted. "Known him for years and always really liked him, he was warm and really funny. Loved putting on a show and he was good at it."

She took to Twitter to state how "incredibly sad" she was after learning of the death of Aaron Carter.

Joey Sasso of the reality series 'The Circle' said he felt "terrible about Aaron Carter passing away."

Sasso wrote on Twitter that Carter "always seemed like such a tortured soul." He added that Carter "just had his son. Now a boy is without a father."

Fellow musician Johnnie Guilbert wrote on Twitter that he "really wanted [Aaron Carter] to recover and better himself," even though he made jokes about the singer sometimes.

Spencer Pratt, here leaving the Big Brother house in 2013, was a really close friend of Aaron Carter.

Pratt shared a fragment of a direct video they made together recently. He needed to do no more to say goodbye to his friend.
