880 episodes

In 1977, Jacklyn Zeman joined the cast of 'General Hospital.' She would play the role of Bobbie Spencer in 880 episodes.

Condolences for the family

She had two daughters

Jacklyn Zeman leaves two daughters, Cassidy Zee Gorden, and Lacey Rose Gorden.

She had started her career as a dancer

Born in New Jersey, Jacklyn Zeman seemed on her way to dedicating herself to dance. She even received a scholarship to study dance at New York University when she was just 15 years old. However, she would end up putting dance aside and moving on to acting.

Debuted at 23 years old

Her first role would come in 1976, at the age of 23, in 'The Edge of the Night'. Immediately after, she would play Lana McLain in 'One Life to Live.' She appeared on the show for 49 episodes in 1976 and 1977.

At age 24 came 'GH'

1977 would be key in the career of the actress. In that year, she joined 'General Hospital,' a series she remained loyal to until the moment she died. Bobbie Spencer accompanied Jacklyn Zeman for 46 of the 70 years she lived.

A farewell from Dr. Drake

Former 'General Hospital' star Rick Springfield (who was Dr. Noah Drake from 1981 to 2014) said in a statement to Deadline that he was "incredibly stunned and broken-hearted to hear of Jackie’s passing. Such a truly kind soul with no touch of the diva and only sweet things to say about everyone."

No diva, kind, and down to earth

Her colleague Kathleen Gati said: "I am heartbroken to hear this news. One of the kindest people I have ever met." Another, Parry Sheen, declared on social media: "Always so kind & down to earth. You will be so missed, Jackie."
