Jamie Foxx's stunning daughter just got engaged!
Corinne Foxx, the stunning and talented daughter of Jamie Foxx, has just announced her engagement.
The 29-year-old bombshell is set to marry her boyfriend Joe Hooten, who is a TV executive "about telling emotional, provocative stories about socio-economic classism," according to his Coverfly profile.
Originally named Connie Marie Bishop at birth, she's Jamie Foxx's firstborn. Her mother is Foxx’s former partner, Connie Kline, a woman leading a life far removed from the Hollywood spotlight.
Jamie Foxx is a man known for his convictions, one of which is his decision to stay single, a choice he's often spoken about publicly. He claims this lifestyle has enhanced his bond with his daughters Corinne (born in 1994) and Annalise (born in 2009)... and her decision to pursue acting like her father has only strengthened their bond. She even stepped up as his spokesperson during his April 2023 hospitalization.
Corinne isn't just an actress. She's a model and writer who's studied public relations, acting, and dramatic arts. Yes, she may be a ‘nepo baby,' but she's worked hard and trained tirelessly to make her own name for herself in Hollywood.
Would she have shared the stage with Pharrell Williams during the 2013 Oscars performance of the hit 'Happy' if her dad wasn't Jamie Foxx? Maybe not. But alas, she did, and she also made her mark in the song's official music video.
Though she's made appearances in films like '47 Meters Down: Uncaged' (2019) and 'Safety' (2020), her most notable work has come in the realm of TV — and not as an actor.
In 2021, Netflix greenlit a sitcom starring Jamie Foxx, inspired by his relationship with Corinne Fox, who served as the executive producer. It was called 'Dad Stop Embarrassing Me.'

She was initially intimidated, being the youngest producer and the only woman on the team, but then she realized no one knew the material better than her; it was her life, after all, she said in an interview with Forbes.

Unfortunately, Netflix chose not to renew the series after its first eight-episode season.

But the show's cancellation didn't slow Corinne down. Jamie Foxx's daughter is also a savvy businesswoman who runs 'Foxxtales,' an online lifestyle magazine and platform, since 2017.

'Foxxtales' aims to connect readers “to people, places, stories, and content that inspire and fuel the soul," as stated on the website.
Helping support female powered businesses, Corinne promotes female-run businesses in a section called 'Girl Powered Shop' on Foxxtales.
If that wasn't enough, Corinne co-hosts a light-hearted podcast called 'Am I Doing This Right?' with her best friend, Natalie McMillan.

Corinne and Natalie discuss everything under the sun on their podcast — from navigating adulthood to filing taxes and even sharing dating app recommendations. It's a must-listen.
The podcast's description sums up the humility of the hosts, that claim to be as confused as everyone else."The goal isn’t to provide all the answers, but to bring comfort to our audience knowing they aren’t the only ones asking the same questions," it reads.
In addition to her other ventures, Corinne co-hosts the musical contest 'Beat Shazam' with her father, where she shows off her DJ skills, yet another passion she shares with her dad.
To top it all off, Corinne is actively involved in various charitable causes, with a special focus on health and women's empowerment.
If anyone questioned why Jamie Foxx is so proud of his daughter Corinne, this rundown should clear things up.
After her stint as an executive producer, Corinne starred in the Hulu series 'Dollface,' where she played Ruby for five episodes alongside Kat Dennings and Brenda Song. Unfortunately, the show was purged from the Disney Plus/Hulu streaming platform in the spring of 2023.
