In case anyone had forgotten, on 1 January 2023, Jeremy Renner was run over and crushed by a 7-tonne snow plough.

A terrible accident

After a very serious accident, Jeremy Renner spent 20 days in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) followed by a year of extreme rehabilitation.

Ready for work

So how is Jeremy Renner doing today? The first answer is - he is still alive; and the second is that he is surprisingly recovered... and ready to get back to work!

An endless list of injuries

To put this in context, the actor experienced, among other injuries, 30 broken bones, a collapsed lung, a perforated liver, 8 broken ribs, shattered legs, a broken right collarbone and countless other ailments.

Ongoing rehabilitation

Jeremy Renner has dedicated his 2023 entirely to his recovery, which has been so miraculous that it wouldn't seem out of place in a Marvel movie.

A lot of treatment

Physiotherapy, training, rehabilitation, "peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on..." are just some of the therapies he has had and shared on his social networks.

There was a risk of never walking again

And it seems to have worked out better than anyone could have imagined, as he told 'People', "I've overcome so much and there are so many things that could have gone wrong. But everything has been great. Even walking, because it was mentioned I'd ever walk again...".

Happy, excited and energetic

From those moments of uncertainty to the present, Jeremy Renner seems renewed, physically and mentally. " I feel pretty open and wonderfully sensitive and youthful. I've been blessed", he admits to the aforementioned media.

He will be at the Super Bowl

What's more, the actor will be one of the stars of the 'Super Bowl', with an advert for a dairy brand. Millions of people witness his miraculous recovery first hand.

Mike McLusky returns

Kingstown fans don't panic, he has been filming the third season of 'Mayor of Kingstown' for several weeks now.

The importance of love

He acknowledges, however, that this recovery would not have been possible without the massive support he has had, both from his family, but above all from his fans. "I am overwhelmed and astonished by the kindness of others…. I live and breathe in gratitude for the opportunity."
