The second season of one of the best-watched series in Netflix' history has been overdue. This time around, there's an important role for Cirilla of Cintra (Freya Allan), the series' female heroine, who will learn important fighting techniques alongside Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill). as they travel together into the heart of the Witcher stronghold, Kaer Morhen.

And Just Like That... - December 9 (HBO)

This much-anticipated new series is a sequel to 'Sex and the City.' It follows three of the four main characters from the original series - Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis - as they navigate the reality of life and friendship at age 50. Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha in the original series, is conspicuously absent.

The Last Duel - December 1 (Disney+)

Matt Damon and Adam Driver play a knight and a nobleman in medieval France who embark on a duel over the alleged assault of the knight's wife. The movie was directed by Ridley Scott and played in cinemas for 45 days before arriving on Disney+.

Lost in Space (S3) - December 1 (Netflix)

In the third and final season of 'Lost in Space,' the stakes are greater than ever, and the survival skills of the Robinson family are put to the test one more time. The story follows Judy, Penny, Will and the robot as they lead 97 young settlers in an evacuation off their mysterious planet.

Single all the Way - December 2 (Netflix)

Desperate to prevent his family from judging his perpetual single-status, Peter (Michael Urie) convinces his best friend Nick (Philemon Chambers) to join him for the Christmas holidays and pretend they are a couple. When Peter's mother (Kathy Najimy) sets him up on a blind date with her handsome coach James (Luke Macfarlane), the plan spirals out of control.

Alex Rider (S2) - December 3 (Amazon)

Alex, the teenage spy, tries to return to a normal life after the traumatic experiences of the first season. However, when the father of his new friend Sabina becomes the victim of a brutal attack, Alex is drawn once again into the world of espionage.

Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) (S5, Part 2) - December 3 (Netflix)

It's the last season of this series about a Spanish band of robbers, and we will finally learn whether The Professor and his gang manage to make the big hit they planned. Apart from a number of loose ends and storylines, this new release is mostly about the group's attempt to get out of the Bank of Spain with the loot.

Harlem - December 3 (Amazon)

This new original series on Amazon Prime Video seems reminiscent of 'Sex and the City,' except that it doesn't take place in Manhattan but in the New York neighborhood of Harlem. It follows the life of a group of women with all the difficulties they face in love.

Beforeigners (S2) - December 5 (HBO)

Oslo is shaken by a brutal murder, and the detectives Lars and Alfhildr meet once again to investigate. As they move across national boundaries, their main question is: could Jack the Ripper have "migrated back in time" to the present?

Back to the Outback - December 10 (Netflix)

A group of animals escapes a reptile house and tries to get back to the Australian outback. Maddie (with the voice of Isla Fisher) is the snake who leads the band. It also includes the thorny devil Zoe (Miranda Tapsell), the tarantula Frank (Guy Pearce) and the scorpion Nigel (Angus Imrie).

Anónima (Anonymous) - December 10 (Netflix)

This Mexican teen comedy stars the social media influencers Ralf Morales and Estefi Merelles. After an accidental text message turns into a virtual friendship, Vale and Alex really start liking each other. What they don't realize, however, is that they already know each other in real life.

A California Christmas: City Lights - December 16 (Netflix)

The sequel to 'A California Christmas' takes us a year beyond Callie and Joseph's first romantic adventure. The couple are happier than ever with their dairy farm and vineyard, but business and family affairs draw Joseph back to the city while disturbing their peace and quiet.

Sin Novedad (No News) - December 19 (HBO)

This new miniseries follows two police officers on a night watch, two inspectors coordinating the operation from the police station, and a couple of criminals waiting to make their hit. All of them are waiting for the same thing, but while nothing is happening yet, they fill the silences with anecdotes and stories about their personal lives.

Emily in Paris (S2) - December 22 (Netflix)

The highly popular dramaseries with Lily Collins is back for a second season. Emily is still settling in Paris and learning the language. Meanwhile, she becomes entangled in a love triangle.

Encanto - December 24 (Disney+)

Disney+ presents a Pixar film for the Christmas holiday. In 'Encanto,' the little Colombian girl Mirabel finds herself excluded from her family because she's the only one without magical powers. Her voice may sound familiar: it's Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Stephanie Beatriz.

The Book of Boba Fett - December 29 (Disney+)

Star Wars fans anxiously await the premiere of this spin-off centering on Boba Fett, a character first appearing in 'The Empire Strikes Back' in 1980. Temuera Morrison, who played Boba Fett in 'The Mandalorian,' returns in this role, and Ming-Na Wen plays the mercenary Fennec Shand.

Cobra Kai (S4) - December 31 (Netflix)

'Cobra Kai' takes place 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament and shows how the conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) continues. In Season 4, the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos join forces to defeat Cobra Kai in the U-18 All Valley Karate Tournament.
