Rapper JayDaYoungan (24) killed in road rage shooting
Rapper JayDaYoungan from Bogalusa, Louisiana, has died in the hospital after being shot at the door of his home.
Javorius Scott, the rapper's real name, was the only fatal victim of the shooting in which he was involved. The other victim, a family member called Kenyatta Scott Sr, was only injured and her condition is not serious.

As the Bogalusa Police Department (BPD) has confirmed on its Facebook profile, it all started on Superior Avenue around 5:50 p.m. on July 27.

According to 'Bogalusa Daily News', the first exchange of shots came from a traffic incident.

JayDaYoungan and Kenyatta Scott Sr. were hit by bullets during that first confrontation. The rapper suffered two gunshot wounds.

While JayDaYoungan was transferred to Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, Kenyatta Scott Sr. was treated at the scene of the incident by emergency services, as confirmed by the authorities.

After identifying the two victims, the Bogalusa Police updated the information on its Facebook profile, confirming the death of the rapper in the hospital.
While the rapper was in the hospital, around 07:00 pm, there was a second shooting on Marshall Richardson Road that the Bogalusa Police Department links to the first exchange of fire.

In this second shooting, the authorities confirmed that a vehicle was hit by a bullet but the occupants had not been injured.

The Bogalusa Police Department described the scene and the two shooting incidents as chaotic. They could not offer more information about it, at least for now.

The investigation is ongoing and the Bogalusa Police Department has asked external agencies for help.
Given that everything happened in the middle of the street and in broad daylight, the authorities have asked citizens for help and requested collaboration from anyone who could provide a new clue.
