Samantha Fox, arrested in London
What was going to be a quiet, regular, and habitual flight between London and Munich ended in the arrest of one of the most remembered and admired stars of the 80s: Samantha Fox.
Everything happened inside a British Airways plane at Heathrow airport where the singer, according to 'The Sun', boarded in a state of intoxication.
Without giving too many details about the origin of the incident, 'The Sun' does point out that Samantha Fox allegedly started a brawl inside the plane shortly after takeoff.
According to 'The Sun', the singer had a strong argument with another passenger. It escalated into a situation that exceeded the security limits.
The situation was so bad that the pilot was forced to turn around, land the plane and, finally, cancel the flight. The other passengers couldn't get on that flight until 24 hours later.
The difference between those passengers and Samantha Fox was that they spent the night of the delay in a hotel, while the singer had to go to prison. Or, at least, until she made bail and was released on charges.
Regretful, the singer was quick to issue a statement in which she apologized for the incident and the problems she may have caused.
The curious thing is that Samantha Fox has apparently had problems on a plane before.
In 2015, on a flight between Luton (United Kingdom) and Vilnius (Lithuania), she also had to be evacuated from a plane. This time it was because she allegedly insulted the staff for having to pay an extra £30 for excess baggage. The incident delayed the boarding of the rest of the passengers.
Would it be a fear of flying that gets Samantha Fox all fired up when approaching a plane? Let's hope there's no next time and she'll be able to fly to her international fans as often as she wants.
