Just Add Magic (Amazon / Disney Kids)

Rookie witches, food, and a magic recipe book are the focus of this series that combines the best recipes with youthful adventures for three seasons.

Niko and the Sword of Light (Amazon)

What if the only hope to save the world from the evil wizard Nar Est was a ten-year-old boy? Adventures, monsters, shadows, humor, and a frenetic pace are what kids are going to love in this story about an atypical hero.

The Gruffalo (Amazon)

One of the hidden gems of the Amazon Prime Video catalog is this story based on Julia Donaldson's famous book. It describes the tremendous encounter of a mouse with the fearsome Gruffalo. In addition to the original animated story, there is also the second part, 'The Daughter of the Gruffalo.' Both are a must for the little ones.

Costume Quest (Amazon)

This series made the opposite journey: it began as a successful video game and then made the jump to television. The story is as crazy as it is hypnotic. Wren, Reynold, Everett, and Lucy receive powers from four ancient costumes that they wear on Halloween. Thanks to their powers, they can face the monsters they live with, in the city of Auburn Hollow.

The Big Show Show (Netflix)

The famous Wrestler makes the leap into fiction (ahem) with a series based on his own fictional alter ego. A series whose plot begins with the big show's teenage daughter returning home to live with her parents and her two younger sisters. It's a very 90s' comedy, but one with a main character of close to 7 feet and 385 pounds, and the appearance of Jaheel White (aka Steve Urkel).

The Worst Witch (Netflix)

Not all witches are powerful experts. In this series, which is now in its fourth season, Mildred Hubble is a young human who arrives at Ms. Cackle's Academy for Witches by chance. There, she will become the worst student of all. Bella Ramsey, the legendary Lyanna Mormont from 'Game of Thrones', is the lead actress.

The Baby-Sitters Club (Netflix)

One of the most positive and tender series available today. With a simple premise: a group of girls creates their own childcare business in Stoneybrook, Connecticut. The charisma, chemistry, and kindness of its protagonists will endear you from the first moment.

Carmen Sandiego (Netflix)

Netflix rightly bet on recovering the most famous white-collar thief of the end of the century. It's Carmen Sandiego. She makes plans to disrupt the plans of the V.I.L.E. organization and return the objects they steal to their true owners.

Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (Netflix)

Guillermo del Toro can boast of being the creator of one of the best animated series of the century. Jim Lake Jr. finds an amulet that makes him the new Troll Hunter, a job he will have combine with school. Anton Yelchin gave a voice to the protagonist (right before the actor died unexpectedly).

Teen Titans Go! (Netflix)

This series premiered in 2013 and since then it has had eight seasons and 375 episodes. Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy are five heroes who fail to get recognized by stars like Batman or Superman, and they will not stop trying until they do get this attention. Their series is one of the best in animation of the past years.

Steven Universe (HBO)

The five seasons of this wonderful series go far beyond young Steven and his friends who are three alien warriors with superpowers. Rebecca Sugar created a series with a huge heart, which embraced friendship, diversity, and tolerance while leaving for history the first animated series to show an LGBTQ+ wedding.

The Amazing World of Gumball (HBO)

Another series that breaks the mold. Strange, disturbing, and extremely abstract, it is absolutely recommended for people of all ages. To say that it is a softer version of 'Family Guy' is not crazy.

DC Super Hero Girls (HBO)

Before saving the world every day, these superheroes were also teenagers. In this series, we see how they became friends in high school and learned to work as a team. A perfect combination of fun, epic stories, and friendship.

The Bureau of Magical Things (HBO)

This is one of those Australian jewels that, from time to time, reach the whole world. In this case, it's a story in which humans and witches have lived together for centuries but where technology is endangering the lives of the fairies. It will not be easy to restore their magic, especially when the young protagonist Kyra discovers a few secrets that have been hidden for a long time.

Recess (Disney+)

Between 1997 and 2001, 'Recess' dominated the conversations among children and young people around the world. More than 20 years later, it still has the capacity of doing so. The kids T.J., Spinelli, Vince, Gretchen, Mikey, and company are the voice of a generation. Now they seek to become the protagonists of the next generation.

Phineas and Ferb (Disney+)

Despite being the summer series par excellence, this series can always be watched with a lot of joy. It's one of the best Disney animated series thanks to its songs, its inventions, and the chemistry of the protagonists: Candace, Perry, and, above all, Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Lizzie McGuire (Disney+)

The memory of this series with Hillary Duff is wonderful, even though it lasted only two seasons.

Hannah Montana (Disney+)

From a big Disney star, we go to a bigger one. The series that made Miley Cyrus a celebrity is a classic comedy. The comic side of Miley Cyrus was huge, and on top of that were the secondary characters, like Rico or Jackson, who shone even brighter on the screen than the singer did.

High School Musical: The Series (Disney+)

What better way to unite 'High School Musical' with its serialized version than through a mockumentary? Well, this is exactly what this series of 10 episodes has achieved. The story is simple: a new teacher at East High School wants to recover the High School Musical with a new generation of students.

Ghostwriter (Apple TV+)

How about a supernatural adventure with literary overtones? This original plot presents a ghost that, hidden in a bookstore, releases fictional characters to real life. They have to be arrested by the four young protagonists while solving the pending issues of each ghost.

Fraggle Rock: Rock On! (Apple TV+)

After an absence of almost 40 years, the Fraggles are back to charm a new generation. They do so with music, stories, adventures, and a lot of imagination, as they recorded the series during the coronavirus lockdown and had to use iPhones to shoot their first season.

Amazing Stories (Apple TV+)

Steven Spielberg astonished the world with this series, showing that it was possible to make a children's program with an adult's mind. A series for the staying, it brings anthological stories in which science fiction, fantasy and the inexplicable come together.

Central Park (Apple TV+)

A somewhat dysfunctional family has the idea of buying Central Park. It won't be easy but it will be fun. A street musician as an omniscient storyteller completes the bunch.
