Shocking: Demi Moore's "humiliating" weight loss method during 'Indecent Proposal' shoot

In an interview with the CBS Sunday Morning program, Demi Moore revealed that she faced similar dramas to those of her character in the film 'The Substance' (2024), sharing her own struggle with the relentless pursuit of the perfect appearance.

The actress recalled that during the filming of 'Indecent Proposal' (1993), she used to wake up at dawn to cycle to the Paramount Studios in Hollywood. It was 48 kilometers to go and another 48 to come back.

Her goal was to lose weight and get back into shape, as she had just given birth to her second daughter, Scout, who was just 6 months old at the time.

Moore said that in addition to cycling and working on the set for 12 hours, she breastfed her baby at night.

"I did have experiences of being told to lose weight. And all of those, while they may have been embarrassing and humiliating, it’s what I did to myself because of that," she said in the same interview.

And he continued: "You look back and you kinda go, ‘Did it really matter that much?’ Probably not. But at the time, I made it mean everything."

At 61, the actress said she is more at peace with her body: " I can say, 'Yup, I don't like this saggy skin, but you know, it is what it is. So I'm going to make the best of what is instead of chasing what doesn't exist."

In her latest film, 'The Substance', Demi Moore plays a character who agrees to take a liquid capable of creating an improved version of herself.

As the story unfolds, while his perfect clone flourishes, his original self suffers a terrible degradation.
