Julia Roberts: mineral water
Winona Ryder: her own dinner set
Marlon Brando: a small person and ice
George Clooney: personalized trailer
Jennifer Aniston: anywhere but on a plane
Angelina Jolie: flight classes
Jack Nicholson: cocaine and a dildo
Nicole Kidman: That's how you make a bed
Tom Cruise: custom-made thongs
Uma Thurman: luxury hotels and wigs
Bruce Willis: a million dollars a day
Russell Crowe: a helicopter and a trailer
Mariah Carey: videos of herself and a gym
Johnny Depp: a private jet
Orson Welles: mink lining
Paris Hilton: lobster and premium vodka
Sean Connery: golf, of course
John Travolta: beach umbrella
Will Smith: luxury trailer
Jeremy Irons: cleanliness
Julia Roberts: mineral water

Julia Roberts only bathes in mineral water. And of course when she has to go on set, she demands that the hotels adapt their water pipes so that she can do so. It's not easy to be a pretty woman.

Winona Ryder: her own dinner set

Winona Ryder is a bit of a maniac when it comes to eating. She always has to do it on her own plates. So when it's time to shoot a film, she carries her dinner set on her back. At least her production team doesn't have to spend any money on it.

Marlon Brando: a small person and ice

Possibly the most unbearable actor in history. For the filming of 'The Island of Doctor Moreau' (1996) he had two non-negotiable conditions: a cooler for his head, and a small person whom he had made friends with days before to be in all of his scenes. He wouldn't film if they didn't accept these conditions and they did.

George Clooney: personalized trailer

Even though he was only in 'Gravity' for 30 minutes, George Clooney left his mark on the film set. His trailer had to have a personalized beach hut, a hot tub, and a basketball court. These antics costed the production company 100,000 dollars. Fortunately, 'Gravity' swept the box office.

Jennifer Aniston: anywhere but on a plane

Jennifer Anniston panics on planes. Even if it takes ten times as long to get to her destination, if she can avoid planes she will. Now, if she doesn't have a choice, she makes her producer send a full medical team with her just in case something were to happen.

Angelina Jolie: flight classes

When filming 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith,' the job where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fell in love on set, Jolie demanded that the producer pay for Brad Pitt's flight classes. In return, she promised to film a movie with them in the future, which she did. The flight classes costed millions.

Jack Nicholson: cocaine and a dildo

Jack Nicholson gave Martin Scorsese two conditions in order to film 'The Departed' in 2006: cocaine and a dildo. But they weren't for him! He wanted his character to have a scene with each of the objects. Scorsese incorporated both elements into an unforgettable scene.

Nicole Kidman: That's how you make a bed

Nicole Kidman is very controlling when it comes to her bed. She leaves detailed instructions on how to make the bed when she doesn't sleep at home, and she goes over it carefully to make sure everything is correct.

Tom Cruise: custom-made thongs

Tom Cruise defines himself as an actor who tends to run a lot in movies. In fact, he runs in all of his movies and of course he has to be comfortable. His peculiar custom which has been repeatedly published in different media, is to wear a thong. Apparently it's more comfortable to run in. He makes sure there are at least 50 thongs on set for him to change into each time he's running away or chasing someone while filming.

Uma Thurman: luxury hotels and wigs

They say there's a cursed project (it's name hasn't even been revealed) that made Uma Thurman's impulses go crazy. The actress demanded to stay in the best hotel compared to everyone else. In addition, the producer had to buy the wigs that she manufactures, but mind you, with a 50% discount.

Bruce Willis: a million dollars a day

In order to film 'The Expendables 3,' Bruce Willis demanded a salary of one million dollars a day. He had to film for four days, which would be four million dollars. The production company didn't accept but they offered him three million, which meant 750,000 dollars a day, and he declined the offer.

Russell Crowe: a helicopter and a trailer

On the set of 'LA Confidential,' the eternal Máximo Meridio demanded that a helicopter fly him to his mansion. It was his daughter's 12th birthday. On other sets, he has demanded a trailer with a gym.

Mariah Carey: videos of herself and a gym

The list of Mariah Carey's film set demands is long but the two most striking petitions are the gym next to her dressing room and hotel, and above all a screen that replays her videoclips in loop.

Johnny Depp: a private jet

The legendary Jack Sparrow has his personal jet which he uses to fly to all of his sets. The motive for this luxury is that he wants to be able to smoke in it.

Orson Welles: mink lining

Why would Orson Welles want expensive mink lining in his clothing for 'The Black Rose' (1950) considering how hot it was on the set? Easy: when he finished filming, he kept the garment, turned it inside out, and used it to perform 'Othello' (1952).

Paris Hilton: lobster and premium vodka

Paris Hilton was on set for 'The Other Guys' (2010) for only one day. Her role was to be a cameo and to top it all, she wasn't going to be in the last scene. In spite of this, the socialite demanded lobster in her dressing room and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka. If shooting had lasted a week, she would've ruined the producer.

Sean Connery: golf, of course

Sean Connery was very passionate about golf. He even demanded all of his sets to be near a golf course.

John Travolta: beach umbrella

They say that one day John Travolta was so hot, that he asked or demanded one of the workers on set to make him a beach umbrella. Of course, they did.

Will Smith: luxury trailer

For the set of 'Men in Black II,' Will Smith demanded he stay in a luxury trailer with two stories. It was so big that some of the neighbors complained because it was blocking their sunlight. The worst part about it is that he lived two kilometers away from the film set!

Jeremy Irons: cleanliness

Veteran actor Jeremy Irons is obsessed with cleaning. He demands his dressing room, trailer, and hotel to be impeccable. It happened several times that he got his own cleaning trolley and started cleaning himself.
