The not-so-secret but very romantic Italian wedding of Rebel Wilson

Rebel Wilson, known for her role in 'Pitch Perfect' and many other movies, married her partner, designer Ramona Agruma, in an intimate ceremony on the Italian island of Sardinia.

It was a meaningful destination for the couple. Although they had initially planned a beach wedding for 2025, the couple decided to move up the date and celebrate their wedding in Sardinia, the location of their first romantic getaway.

According to the Daily Mail, the newlyweds wore near-identical wedding dresses, both by Pronovias, with Rebel opting for a modest design while Ramona added beaded details.

Rebel surprised Ramona with a proposal in Disneyland in February 2023, a moment they shared with their followers on social media.

At the time, The Independent reported that Wilson shared a photo of the two sharing a kiss. In the image, Agruma showed off her engagement ring from Tiffany & Co.

The couple, who began dating in 2021, have a one-year-old daughter named Royce Lillian. The little girl was born in November 2022 via surrogate, The Daily Mail states.

The actress told reporters that the two women were introduced to each other by a mutual friend, the Australian actor Hugh Sheridan. They began talking on the phone before meeting in person.

Curiously, according to the Daily Mail, Sheridan recently revealed that he no longer has contact with Rebel, despite having played a key role in her relationship.

The ceremony, described as 'super romantic', was attended by close friends and family. It was deliberately kept small and private.

According to The Independent, Sardinia was chosen as the wedding location because it was Rebel and Ramona's first holiday destination as a couple, a place with great meaning for both of them.

Rebel Wilson has openly shared her struggles with fertility due to her polycystic ovary syndrome. In the end, she had her daughter Royce through surrogacy.

"I had something called PCOS – polycystic ovarian syndrome – and I gained weight rapidly," she told The Daily Mail. "It’s just a hormone imbalance and you gain a lot of weight usually and that's how it manifested in me."

Rebel has expressed how the arrival of her daughter has changed her life, saying her priorities have completely revolved around being a mother.

"It's like you start thinking about someone else instead of yourself," she told the Australian program The Morning Show.

The life change is visible in Rebel Wilson's work as well as her private life. She recently downsized her work office in West Hollywood, Forbes reported, because she is spending more time at home with her young family in the Hollywood Hills.

The actress also toured the world in the Spring of 2024, discussing themes from her memoir 'Rebel Rising' about her road to success and personal experiences with love and motherhood.

With houses in the US and Australia, the country of her birth, Rebel Wilson can divide her family's life between her favorite places. However, the Daily Mail reports she is also interested in living in the UK. So where will the Wilson-Agruma family end up? Time will tell!
