This is Matteo Bocelli, the talented and handsome son of Andrea Bocelli
Matteo Bocelli is one of the three sons of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, and has gradually become known for not only his talent but also his impressive magnetism on stage.
The 26-year-old stole the hearts of the public by performing alongside his father at the Viña 2024 International Song Festival, where Andrea won Silver and Gold awards.
After his performance with his dad, Matteo attracted attention - not only for his talent, but also for his charm and presence on stage. He quickly became a social media sensation, rapidly collecting over one million followers on Instagram.
Matteo even became a trend on other social networks after his performance in Viña. Due, in part to his physical appearance, he received countless compliments, including desperately humorous comments such as, "You are the apology that God sent for other men".
But who is Matteo Bocelli? The young man was born on 8 October 1997, and is the second son of Andrea Bocelli.
Although Matteo is physically very similar to his father, the two have different singing techniques. The power of his voice, however, is reminiscent of his father's.
From an early age, young Bocelli began playing piano and studying music, but later turned to singing like his father. Yet, at first, his father didn't want him to choose that career.
At first his father felt that he was too young, and not ready. But slowly he began to understand that this was the life he wanted.
"...I wanted it for myself, but my dad was never pushy about music. He never expected this to become a family business," he said to Gentlemen's Journal.
In the end, of course, Andrea supported his son and Matteo made his musical debut in 2018 alongside his father in the song 'Fall on Me', which is part of the soundtrack of Disney's 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'.
And although Matteo has, like his father, mainly dedicated himself to classical music, he has also collaborated with other musicians and tried his hand at other genres.
For example, a year ago, Matteo did a duet in Spanish with Sebastián Yatra for the song "Tu Luz Quedó", which has almost 7 million views on YouTube.
Matteo has already performed on some of the world's most important stages. After appearing in Viña 2024, Matteo told Canal 13, "This is my first time in Chile and I couldn't expect a better reaction. It's amazing and I want to say thank you very much to this incredible audience."
In 2023, Andrea Bocelli's son released his first studio album entitled 'Matteo', where he explores the pop genre with a mix of songs in English and Italian with some writing and production contributions from Ed and Matthew Sheeran.
