Boris Johnson announced he would step down after a record number of his cabinet had recently resigned. On 7th July 2022, Boris spoke to the world after a number of controversies led him to make the decision to leave Number 10 - and the public have reacted. The memes have come out in their dozens. This lighthearted meme refers to the many children Boris Johnson has (and with a range of different partners). Boris has four children with his second wife, Barrister Marina Wheeler. Allegations came out that Boris had fathered a fifth child after an affair with Helen Macintyre in 2009. And finally he has two children with his current wife Carrie Johnson.

The speech didn't go down too well with many members of the public. This particular Twitter user deemed a bigger violin would be necessary after Boris Johnson claimed he 'fought so hard in the last few days to continue... not just because I wanted to do so but because I felt it was my job, my duty, my obligation to you, to continue to do what we promised in 2019.'
