What happened to the cast of the series '7th Heaven'?
Do you remember '7th Heaven'? In early 2023, actress Jessica Biel went back in time and took us to the 90s with an adorable Instagram post.
Jessica Biel congratulated her "little sis" from '7th Heaven' on her participation in the Fox reality show 'Special Forces.' She said: "Is there anything Beverley Mitchell can't do?" The photo of the two actresses was clearly made in the time they worked together on '7th Heaven.'
The show was broadcast on The CW between 1996 and 2007. Where is the cast now, fifteen years since it ended? Let's have a look at the protagonists and their lives today!
For 11 seasons, and 243 episodes, viewers were able to follow the daily lives and the adventures of the Camdens, the seemingly perfect – and numerous – American family.
Annie Camden was a courageous stay-at-home mom who raised five children with her husband, Reverend Eric Camden. While dedicating most of her time to her family, Annie also studied business, arts, and economics. Finally, the stay-at-home mom sometimes managed the Church treasury.

Before embodying the backbone of the Camdens in '7th Heaven,' Catherine Hicks already had a long career behind her. She played Marilyn Monroe in 'Marilyn: The Untold Story' (1980) and Andy's mother Karen in 'Child's Play' (1988).
After '7th Heaven,' the actress started working less and less in entertainment. Just like her character Annie Camden, Catherine Hicks is a very pious woman. She is a volunteer in several Catholic associations that help the poor.
Reverend Eric Camden was the husband of Annie Camden and the father of five children. Highly respected in his small town of Glen Oak, he was often called upon to resolve the concerns of its inhabitants. During the 11 seasons of '7th Heaven,' he suffered various heart problems that led him to leave the Church for a while.
Born in 1947, Collins was active in Hollywood since the 1970s. After '7th Heaven,' he continued to appear in series such as 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,' 'The Fosters,' 'The Office,' and 'Devious Maids.' The high point of his career was already behind him though.
In 2014, his ex-wife, actress Faye Grant, leaked tapes to TMZ in which Stephen Collins was heard confessing to the abuse of young girls. While he was not convicted of the crimes he admitted on tape, due to the statute of limitations, he never appeared on TV or film again.
The eldest of the Camden brothers, Matt, was the good kid of the family. In the early seasons, he worked odd jobs and later entered college to study medicine. There, he met Sarah, his future wife, with whom he would have twins.
The heartthrob of the series, Barry Watson had a difficult time in the final seasons. During the seventh season of '7th Heaven,' he learned that he had cancer. His appearances in the series gradually became rarer, but luckily he managed to get cured of the disease.
In the 2010s, Barry Watson landed some supporting roles in successful series. His role as Steven Spence, Serena van der Woodsen's boyfriend in the sixth season of 'Gossip Girl,' stands out. Now nearing 50, he continues to act in series with minor roles. A recent example was 'Naomi' on The CW, a superhero drama that lasted one season.
Mary Camden was the rebel of the family. Passionate about basketball (but also boys!), she dreamed of playing in the WNBA. Getting into trouble quite often, she caused quite a few sleepless nights for her parents.
Unknown until she starred in the series, Jessica Biel would get more Hollywood fame with commercial films such as 'Valentine's Day' (2010) or 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (2003). In 2007, she started dating Justin Timberlake. They married in 2012 and had two children.
Jessica Biel flourishes most as a producer these days. In 2017, for example, she produced the first season of the series 'The Sinner,' in which she also played one of the main roles.
In '7th Heaven', Lucy Camden was the emotional child of the house, known for her overly dramatic moods. Very pious, she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and studied theology to become a pastor. In season 7, she married police officer Kevin Kinkirk with whom she had a little girl called Savannah.
After the end of the series, Beverley Mitchell notably played in season 3 of 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' with Shailene Woodley. She also launched into music by releasing an eponymous album.
Married since 2002, Beverley Mitchell is the mother of three children and now devotes herself to her family - with the exception of Fox's endurance competition 'Special Forces' in 2023. She has maintained a beautiful friendship with her former colleague Jessica Biel.
The fourth child, little Simon Camden formed a real team with Happy, the family dog. In high school, he would become a popular kid and have several girlfriends, including Deena, Cecilia, Georgia, Sandy, and even Rose. At the end of the series, Simon graduated from university.
Over the course of 11 seasons, the viewers of '7th Heaven' witnessed the physical metamorphosis of David Gallagher. He went from a little boy to a young man. The actor notably dated Megan Fox in 2003 and Shannon Marie Woodward a year later.
On the professional side, he appeared in series such as 'Smallville', 'Criminal Minds', 'CSI' and 'Vampire Diaries', or in the film 'Super 8.' He is also the spokesperson for Cure Autism Now, as his brother is autistic.
The youngest daughter of the family, little Rosie was very endearing to all fans of the series. Sly and precocious in her childhood, she developed a strong character over the seasons, often leading her to defend the causes that were close to her heart.
At the end of '7th Heaven,' when she was only 17, Mackenzie Rosman's character set off to travel the world with her boyfriend. The young actress wouldn't make too many other appearances on the big and small screen anymore.
Mackenzie Rosman is now in her 30s and devotes her time to horseback riding with her own store dedicated to the sport. The actress is also very active on social media and regularly shares moments of her personal life on Instagram.

In '7th Heaven' twins, Sam and David Camden, were born in season 3. The episode of their birth was the most-watched of the entire series. The actors were Nikolas and Lorenzo Brino, who in real life were part of quadruplets! Their sister Myranda and brother Zachary also appeared on the show as babies.
Of the Brino quadruplets, Zachary would continue to act, though briefly, in the series 'What about Brian.' In 2020, the siblings would make the news because Lorenzo got into a tragic car accident. He died at the age of 21 in March 2020.

Special mention goes to Happy, the Pyrenean shepherd cross who became one of the stars of the Camden family. She appeared in all 11 seasons of '7th Heaven' and was a true icon of the series. The acting dog passed away in 2010 when she was 15 years old.
