27-year-old actor Chance Perdomo (Gen-V) passes away in tragic accident
A young, rising talent of Hollywood has died unexpectedly at the age of 27. It's the British actor Chance Perdomo.
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo's untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident," the actor's publicist stated in 'Variety'.
The statement also declared the cause of the young actor's untimely death. He had a fatal motorcycle accident in which no one else was involved.
"We can't quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person," the producers of the Amazon series 'Gen V' added.
Born in October 1996 in Los Angeles, the actor became known in 2018 thanks to the successful Netflix series 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'.
In this show, Chance Perdomo played Ambrose Spellman, the cousin of Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka). Sometimes he was the protagonist's good conscience, and other times he pushed her to a darker side.
That same year, BBC featured the young actor in its TV movie 'Killed by My Debt'. He was 21 years old and got a nomination for a BAFTA with this role.
The series confirmed Chance Perdomo's star status was 'Gen-V', the Amazon series that served as a spin off of 'The Boys'. Perdomo played the role of Andre Anderson.

In film, the actor participated in three installments of the 'After' saga, replacing Shane Paul McGhie, the actor originally chosen for the role.
Beyond some controversies over his comments on social media, concerning vaccines or the people he interacted with, Chance Perdomo was a very popular actor.
While his career was just beginning, the fatal accident terminated what could have been a life of success in Hollywood. Chance Perdomo joins the infamous '27 club' now.
