According to the aforementioned media, the comedian has put her mansion, located in an exclusive area of Montecito, California, up for sale.

Interestingly, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi purchased the mansion, which has a large property, only in 2019. They made it their primary residence.

Five years later, the couple, married since 2008, have chosen the United Kingdom to settle down. One reason for their exile is seeing how the candidate they had actively supported during her campaign, Kamala Harris, getting outvoted by the Republican candidate.

But there's more going on with Ellen DeGeneres. The electoral setback of 2024 adds to the work problems of Ellen DeGeneres. In 2022, her daily show was canceled in the US.

'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' had been on air for 19 seasons. It had been a continuous success since 2003, but everything fell apart when stories leaked about the toxic work environment on the set. Direct accusations against Ellen DeGeneres followed.
