Asia's most beautiful women at Miss Universe 2024

This week, women from 130 countries compete for the title of Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico City. For Rumy Al-Qahtani (photo), it is a very special occasion because she represents Saudi Arabia, a country that has never before participated in the contest.

On November 15, 30 finalists are selected for the big gala on Saturday, November 16. Before that selection is made, however, we want to show you all of Asia's contestants in the most spectacular beauty pageant in the world.

We will present the Asian contestants for Miss Universe 2024 in alphabetical order of their countries. First comes Emma Avanesyan, the representative of Armenia who is 32 years old.

Bahar Mirzayeva, 25, is a social media content creator based in New York. She has 2.6 million followers on Instagram, where she shared this official portrait of Miss Universe Azerbaijan.

A Filipino-Bahraini model, 29-year-old Shereen Ahmed has a beautiful complexion. She works as a journalist and a content creator on social media.

International makeup artist Aniqa Alam is a mother, one of the first to compete in Miss Universe this year. She wants to be a strong voice for the empowerment of women.

Davin Prasath, 33, is a model, actress and philanthropist.

Jia Qi from China shone on Mexican City's Zokolo Square as she paraded with all the other contestants of Miss Universe. The beauty queen is dedicated to sports, especially golf, and physical fitness.

With traditional Mexican paint on her face, Joanne Josephine Rhodes looks as radiant as ever. She works as a host on TV and radio but is also an art consultant and a model.

Rhea Singha, 19, graduated from the Performing Arts program at GLS University in Ahmedabad. She also works as a model.

Clara Shafira Krebs, 22 years old, has a degree in International Business Management. She works as a businesswoman and a model.

Fay Asghari, 22, is the first contestant from Iran (Persia) to take part in this competition. She is a cosmetic nurse with a degree in Microbiology.

Israel returns to the Miss Universe pageant after a two-year hiatus. Its representative, Ofir Natalie Korsia, is 23 years old and works as an actress, dancer and model.

Kaya Chakrabortty is 25 and loves art and sports. In fact, she is the national figure skating champion of Japan.

Madina Almukhanova, 23, is a model, choir director, professional singer and pianist.

For 25-year-old Maya Turdalieva, this Miss Universe pageant is a second chance. She was crowned in her home country in 2023 but was unable to attend the international pageant at the time. This year, she shines on the international stage in Mexico City.

She is standing between Miss Guatemala and Miss Botswana on a beautiful sunny day in Mexico City. Phiranya Thipphomvong 'Miepooh' is highly active in the pursuit of better access to education for girls in rural areas of Laos.

Despite the uncertain situation in her country due to the Middle Eastern war,  26-year-old Nadia Koussa is proudly representing her country at Miss Universe 2024. She has traditional Mexican paint on her face to honor the country where Miss Universe is held.

In addition to being a model, dancer, and content creator, Cassandra Chiu is also a polyglot who speaks Mandarin, Portuguese, English, and Cantonese.

Malaysia sends the beautiful Sandra Lim. She is a model and presenter who also engages in social work.

It's the first time Maldives has participated in Miss Universe. It's a strongly religious Muslim country. Mariyam Shaina Naseem went against her country's radical Islamic tradition to participate in the contest.

Just like many of the other beauties in these photos, Nominzul Zandangiin, 19, is dressed in traditional Mexican garments. It was part of the Miss Universe event celebrating Mexican culture. Nominzul is passionate about well-being and physical activity.

Strongly influenced by Burmese culture, Thet San Andersen is a designer by calling.

Sampada Ghimire is a 23-year-old model who became the first runner-up at Miss Nepal 2023 before winning Miss Universe Nepal 2024.

Noor Xarmina is an actress who studied Biology and Business. She aspires to create positive change in her country.

Of American descent, Chelsea Anne Manalo is representing the Philippines at Miss Universe. She is 25 years old, a model, and a law student.

Model Valentina Alekseeva is 18 years old and represents the country that is partly in Europe, and partly in Asia.

Charlotte Lucille Chia, seen here with four other wonderful Asian Miss Universe contestants, is a public relations account executive in her daily life.

Han Ariel was part of a very special national beauty pageant. She defeated Choi Soon-hwa, an 81-year-old South Korean model and an extraordinary candidate.

Opal Suchata Chuangsri is 20 years old and quite tall: 180 cm! She is currently studying Law and is fluent in multiple languages.

Nigina Fakhriddinova represents Uzbekistan for Miss Universe. She was the founder of a model agency, Panterra Models, and is also quite active on social media. Her Instagram account with nearly 2,000 posts has 218,000 followers.

Ky Duyen is a professional model who already won Miss Vietnam in 2014. Now she's back to compete in Miss Universe 2024 with the intention of winning ánd making friends for life.
