January 9 is a big day for Duchess Catherine. She turns 40 in 2022. Over the course of her time with the British royal family, she has shown to be a woman of excellent taste. Let's have a look at Kate Middleton's most beautiful outfits.

Attending the 2021 Earthshot Prize gala at Alexandra Palace, Prince William and Duchess Catherine looked like they were walking right out of a fashion magazine. The prince sported a dark green velvet suit over a black turtleneck, while Kate Middleton returned to the fabulous lilac Alexander McQueen gown that she had already worn once, over ten years ago, at a 2011 BAFTA event. It is still fashionable!

William and Kate also made a stunning appearance at the premiere of the new James Bond movie, 'No Time to Die,' in the London Royal Albert Hall. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a dress that was absolutely unforgettable.

Duchess Catherine wore a shimmering Jenny Packham gown with metallic sequins, structured shoulders and a sheer cape. She had the media 'Wowing' and even distracted Daniel Craig himself from his own, striking pink velvet suit jacket. It was an iconic look.

It's not the only occasion on which Kate looked fantastic. How about this rainy day in June, when she made even the most common rainbow umbrella look regal? The Duchess visited the Centre for Early Childhood at Kensington Palace and did not need anyone to hold an umbrella for her as she walked over.

In May, Kate Middleton appeared live on air in ITV's "This Morning" with a relaxed, simply brushed stay-at-home hairdo. As for her clothes, USA Today speculated that she "appeared to be wearing a yellow floral silk midi dress by London-based brand Raey," but we cannot be 100% sure.

Then, it was summer and the Duchess of Cambridge could go out and meet people in real life again. She did have to keep a certain physical difference, though - like here, in the Fakenham Garden Centre in Norfolk, where she "dressed down in a £175 gilet, shirt and jeans," The Daily Mail reported. Harper's Bazaar opined that the Duchess looked "seriously chic" that day.

On another occasion in June, Kate Middleton wore a loose, flowery dress with canvas espadrilles. The fabric of the dress was crepe and the brand Marie-Louise.

You could see that she was enjoying the outdoors, as she is known to do, and fashion connaisseurs also noted that she had let her 'mum fringe' (or curtain bangs) grow to ear-length.

On her visit to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in July, Kate Middleton wore a blue printed dress with long sleeves by Beulah.

Her high heeled shoes of fake snake skin from the brand Tabitha Simmons cost £531. Organizations like Baby Basics in Sheffield provide clothing, bedding, and nappies to parents who cannot afford to buy these themselves.

It was the first time the Duchess wore a facial mask on a royal visit, and the media marvelled at its flowery textile. Kate Middleton herself was most of all impressed with the struggles of vulnerable parents during the coronavirus pandemic. She later confessed that she had cried after making this visit.

"Kate Middleton just re-wore her £30 M&S trousers and they're perfect," Cosmopolitan wrote in September, after the Duchess had visited London's Battersea Park to meet parents who received support from NGOs in the pandemic. Middleton is among the few celebrities who don't mind to be seen twice in the same outfit, even if it cost only £30.

Kate Middleton adapted to her surroundings when she visited a group of young scouts in London. She wore skinny jeans and platform hiking boots.

Kate Middleton made an energetic impression at the University of Derby in October. Even though she kept the required physical distance while talking to the students, her gestures and looks show that she was very engaged with the community. Halfway through December, the end of 2020 was approaching, Prince William and Kate Middleton decided to take their three children - George, Charlotte, and Louis - to a special performance of The National Lottery's Pantoland at The Palladium.
