Early life

Born on January 27, 1971, in Singapore, Fann Wong was the youngest of three daughters in her family.

Beginning career

In spite of her early acting success, Fann Wong's career didn't take off until she was 16 and won a beauty contest hosted by the Singapore magazine 'Her World,' which led to a contract with a modeling agency. This opened doors for her in commercials and then on television.
