While we await the next zodiac year, here are some celebrities born in the zodiac animal of the Snake, for it is their year!

Beloved starlet of the 1950s, Audrey Hepburn, was born on 4 May 1929, making her born in the year of the Earth Snake.

Her status as one of cinema's ageless icons ensures that, even though she has passed away, she is still widely recognised as one of the most famous people to have been born in the year of the Snake.

Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars currently in the world right now, and the singer was born in the year of the Earth Snake as well, on December 13, 1989.

According to the official Grammy page, Taylor Swift is considered one of the world’s best-selling music artists, and perhaps that success can be attributed to her zodiac luck.

Known as one of the “Four Heavenly Kings of Cantopop” in the Chinese entertainment world, Aaron Kwok was born on 26 October 1965, making him born in the year of the Wood Snake.

Despite how Malay Mail reports that Aaron Kwok had suffered a minor mishap last month in his music tour in Taipei, the return of the year of the Wood Snake is bound to be one that brings good luck to this Hong Kong star!

J.K. Rowling is known as one of the world’s most famous authors thanks to her creation of one of the literary world’s most famous works, the ‘Harry Potter’ series. She was born in the year of the Wood Snake as well, on 31 July 1965.

Despite being known then and largely praised for the creation of ‘Harry Potter’, J.K. Rowling has now earned infamy for being quite the controversial figure thanks to her political ideas.

South Korean singer Taeyeon, was born in the year of the Earth Snake on March 9, 1989. She is a member of one of K-pop’s most iconic girl groups, Girls’ Generation, and has carved out a successful solo career for herself since 2015, reports Billboard.

Other than Taeyeon, several members from Girls’ Generation are also Earth Snakes themselves! Namely Tiffany Young, Hyoyeon, and Yuri, as they were also born in the year 1989, reports Allkpop.

According to Allkpop, there are several celebrities born in the year of the Snake in several K-pop groups too, and they can be considered the younger snakes currently in the K-pop industry, having been born in 2001, the year of the Metal Snake.

This includes three members from the K-pop boy band RIIZE: Ryujin, Chaeyeong, and ex-member Sungchan. Coincidentally, RIIZE is also managed by SM Entertainment, which also manages Girls’ Generation! Both groups are considered one of the most successful in the K-pop industry, especially so for being from the SM Entertainment brand of K-pop groups.
