Fashion at the Governors Awards

Stately black and white with the occasional outburst of color: that was the fashion seen at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles. The event's red carpet gave a preview of what we can expect from the Oscars in March 2025.

Angelina Jolie and Knox Jolie-Pitt

Angelia Jolie drew a lot of attention when she mounted the red carpet with her son Knox Jolie-Pitt as her companion. She chose The Kit Vintage for a design that caused a sensation on the red carpet.

Pamela Anderson: natural

Since she decided to stop wearing makeup, actress Pamela Anderson has drawn attention for her natural beauty.

Her clothing tends to be modest, too. At the Governor Awards, she wore a simple and flattering blouse and pants set by Giorgio Armani.

Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton's favorite color, red, was one of the eye-catchers of the evening. In a Standing Ground design with a central ruching and accompanied by a recognizable mohawk, the actress made a big impact.

Demi Moore

Demi Moore is up for award nominations for her role in 'The Substance'. She showed her legs and shoulders in this gorgeous strapless Givenchy dress and a Sartoro Genève choker.

Elle Fanning

This delicate and vintage Valentino design looks wonderful on the young actress. Its dress cape in mint green and the feathers and crystals as embellishments are simply spectacular.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman wore a black off-the-shoulder design with jewels around her neck by Celine.

Jennifer Lawrence

Pregnant, happy, and always perfect, JLaw opted for chocolate brown, the absolute trend of the season, with a beautiful design by Bottega Veneta.

Selena Gomez

The star from 'Only Murders in the Building' chose a spectacular Ralph Lauren design covered with black sequins and contrasting white collars and cuffs.

Sharon Stone

The ever-stunning veteran actress wears a long-sleeved, V-neck dress with silver accessories and a delightful dragonfly brooch on the shoulder.

Julianne Moore

Black was one of the colors of the evening, but few people wore it with the elegance of Julianne Moore. Her gown was by Proenza Schouler with a cape and corset bodice.

Lily-Rose Depp

Lily-Rose Depp went to 2018 to choose a dress from that year's Chanel haute couture collection, designed by the genius Karl Lagerfeld.

Zoe Saldana

The actress dared to wear a mini-length dress and was right about her choice, thanks to the Saint Laurent design in olive green.

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet is elegance personified in this black suit with two striking white 3D flowers, designed by Erdem.

Felicity Jones

The actress opted for a white design with an asymmetrical cut and volume on the shoulders, which was highly flattering.

Jennifer Lopez

One of the designs of the evening was this Zuhair Murad from the autumn-winter 2024 haute couture collection with transparencies, rhinestones, and a halter neckline, combined with a black velvet overskirt with a train. A historic look.

Margaret Qualley

The young actress is an ambassador for Chanel and once again showed why she's so good at it. Her bridal-inspired dress was a delight with thin straps decorated with crystals, a square neckline, and a tiered silhouette. Wonderful.

Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen opted for Givenchy and a structured pattern design with straps, a V-neckline, and a draped silhouette with a midi skirt and side slit. One of the most elegant of the evening.
