Justin Bieber denies drug use allegations and says 'Jesus helps me'
Justin Bieber has been under scrutiny since early February, as there have been rumors of a split from his wife Hailey Bieber, as well as drug use. However, he denies all of these speculations.
The singer's representatives have denied the "recurring narrative" that Bieber uses hard drugs, TMZ reported.
They added that Bieber is actually doing great. "B is simply in one of the best places in his life ... actively parenting his newborn son with Hailey, working on new music - and getting excited for his 31st birthday later this week," the reps told TMZ.
Despite the good news, his rep explained that Bieber has had a very transformative year. "He ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him," they explained.
The rep called the constant questioning about Bieber's mental and physical health "exhausting and pitiful and [it] shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive."
Alarm bells went off in early February when the singer was seen in New York with dark circles under his eyes and looking visibly tired, according to TMZ.
Sources close to the singer revealed that Bieber had filmed during the night, so he looked tired when the cameras caught him. In addition to this, he had also taken care of his baby boy, TMZ reported.
Bieber accidentally unfollowed his wife on Instagram in January, sparking a wave of rumors about an alleged feud between the couple.
However, Justin has shared that he is changing. Through his Instagram stories, the singer spoke about how his faith in God has helped him in many instances. "But you don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. You just receive so enter love living! God always grants us love!" he wrote, according to E! News.
Bieber also explained that he takes one day at a time and lets God help him with his fears. "The weight is on God. So I give all my insecurities and my fears to him this morning. Because I know he gladly takes it. Asking Jesus to genuinely help me with simply the next step today," he said.
