Maeil Business News reports that Kim Byung-sun had studied at Kyunghee University's Department of Theater and Film prior to joining JYP Entertainment as an actress.

Kim Byung-sun was reported by Namu to have made her acting debut on the big screen when she played a minor role in the film ‘The Perfect Couple’. The same year, she landed more roles in television.

Laid to rest

The same report from Maeil Business News states that Kim Byung-sun had passed from an undisclosed chronic illness on the 25th of October. Her funeral was held on October 27 in Seoul’s Seoul Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall. It was attended by many dear friends and family.
