The show was famous for producing some of Taiwan’s most famous hosts, such as Harlem Yu, Bowie Tsang, Dee Hsu, and Mickey Huang himself.
According to Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, Mickey Huang was mentored by the Godmother of Taiwanese variety TV, Chang Hsiao-yen, who is considered one of Taiwan’s best TV hosts.
Chang Hsiao-yen's influence can be seen in Mickey Huang, as it rubbed off and established him as one of Taiwan's best hosts prior to his recent scandals.
Since then, Mickey Huang attained great fame and was even ranked one of the top hosts in Taiwan. Some of the shows he is known for include ‘Entertainment Headlines’, ‘Music Power’, and ‘Entertainment Star Factory’.
Despite his reputation as one of Taiwan’s household names, Mickey Huang was a subject of negative attention in 2023 during Taiwan’s MeToo movement.

Mickey Huang was accused of harassment by a female blogger, Zofia, who said the celebrity had allegedly met on two occasions over 10 years ago while she was still a minor, reports The Straits Times.

Zofia did not name Mickey Huang publicly then, but left clues that pointed to him as the prepreator, which were quickly sleuthed out by netizens, reports The Straits Times.

Furthermore, Zofia was not the only alleged victim of Mickey Huang, as multiple more came forth to pinpoint him of abuse thereafter. Since then, Mickey Huang’s reputation has been severely damaged, as he was known to have a rather positive image in Taiwan.
