New and incoming: Marvel premiers in 2025
A new year means new projects and Marvel has been busy. We take a look at the most anticipated upcoming movies from Marvel, as the MCU moves from Phase 5 to Phase 6.
With Venom's 'Last Dance' currently in the cinema, we will begin with the film that will surely dominate cinemas this Christmas and the start of the year. Marvel kicks off proceedings with the eagerly anticipated 'Kraven the Hunter'.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson takes the lead role in this R(18) rated Sony production. Kraven craves to be not only the greatest hunter the world has ever seen but also the most feared. Expect lots of violence in this comic book adaptation due to be released in the middle of December.
Traditionally a bad guy, it will be interesting to see if Sony goes down the Venom route and tries to make the former baddie more likable and, more importantly, more sellable.

Born to Russian aristocrats and an abusive father, Kraven goes on to become the most feared hunter in the world. From the trailer, it looks like an infection causes Kraven to develop animal-like abilities. However, in the comic book, he absorbs a potion. Russell Crowe plays the complicated father.

Surely the most anticipated movie of 2025 has to be ‘Captain America: Brave New World’. Sam takes over the mantle of Steve Rogers to become the new Captain America.

Marvel has big shoes to fill and judging by the trailer a familiar-looking creature (red, large, and muscly!) is going to give the new Cap a run for his money.

We meet the now President Thaddeus Ross and Sam is called upon to restart the Captain America program. However, Sam has his doubts and a history with the new president.

Hopefully this time they can get it right. There is so much potential for this group on the big screen, so let's hope Marvel has finally found the right formula.

It will be the first film of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). And by the looks of it, it has a very retro-future vibe going on.

Not much has been divulged other than there will be villains. Both Galactus and The Silver Surfer have been rumoured and then Robert Downey Junior's unveiling as Dr Doom at Comic Con has got fans salivating.

Now this one, many are looking forward to seeing. Florence Pugh heads the cast of Superhero misfits. It looks like a lot of fun and Pugh is simply marvellous in everything she does.

Add The Winter Soldier, The Red Guardian, a host of other reluctant heroes, and a strong dose of comedy... this seems to be the film to watch this Spring.

An unlikely group of heroes and villains brought together from a range of different Marvel movies to fight for good. But can they get along enough to save the world?

In TV, there are some new additions as well. Of course, they are available exclusively for those with access to Disney Plus. There will be a few animated spin-offs, such as ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ where warriors travel in time to get 'vibranium'. In addition, there's 'Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman'. When does the webbed hero fail to excite?

Finally, Marvel will be bringing us the live-action ‘Wonder Man’ by the end of the year. It will star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (photographed) and Ben Kingsley. As Gizmodo tells us, the hero is a stuntman and actor who, thanks to chemical radiation, obtains powers. Could we see this tie into previous series such as 'Wanda Vision' and the recent 'Agatha All Along'?
