There's so much to talk about when it comes to the inauguration of Donald Trump on Monday, January 20. But while some were listening to his stern speech and promises of Greatness, others were distracted by weird little things happening all over the venue.

The happy tune of 'YMCA' by the Village People must reflect Donald Trump's feelings these days. He just became president and had an eventful inauguration that the whole world watched. Some of us did so for laughs...

At the last minute, the ceremony was moved inside the Capitol building, as the temperature outside was around 20º Fahrenheit (-7º Celsius). Of course, this led to jokes about Donald Trump being a 'tough guy'.

Donald Trump has claimed he can handle Canada and would love to annex Greenland. But if he can't even stand an hour in the cold, how does he think he's going to do those things?

Generally, comparisons of the inauguration to TV and film were widely circulating on the internet.

Some saw Mary Poppins in the First Lady's outfit...

Others compared her to the 'Hamburglar' from the old McDonald's commercials.

To continue the fast food references, The Daily Show thought the hat looked like the Pizza Hut logo.

Whatever it looked like, the hat definitely served a purpose.

Conservatively dressed in an emerald green that reminded many viewers of 'Wife' Serena Joy in 'The Handmaid's Tale,' Ivanka Trump made people wonder if there was a message in her outfit. Are we heading towards a Gilead theocracy?

For Trump, waiting for the day he could become president again, was like playing the Squid Game for Player 456. Both ended up with a totally different facial expression and a little bit older too.

Some viewers were worried after seeing the first episode of Trump's four-year series.

Trump criticized his predecessor Joe Biden rather harshly and unceremoniously. The former president and his vice president Kamala Harris had to work hard to keep a straight face during Trump's snaring speech.

For Trump, as he prepared his roast of the former administration, it was "just another day in paradise."

Right after Trump's rather hostile speech, Carrie Underwood was led into the Rotunda to sing 'America, the Beautiful'. But the background music wouldn't start. A sign from above?
