Maestro - December 20th (Netflix)

Leave the World Behind - December 8th (Netflix)

A much-discussed movie with a star cast including Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and Mahershala Ali, you should see this suspense/disaster drama. It tells the story of a family who escapes the frenetic pace of New York to spend its vacation in Long Island. However, when a desperate couple appears on the doorstep at night, coinciding with a mysterious blackout, the family's tranquility is turned upside down.

Murder in Boston: Roots, Rampage, and Reckoning - December 5th (HBO)

For true crime fans, this new three-part documentary series looks at the 1989 murder of Carol Stuart, a pregnant woman. The unfolding investigation exacerbated racial tensions, culminating in brutal attacks in Boston.
